The Rusty Parrot Lodge in Jackson, Wyoming
A member of Small Luxury Hotels of the World, the Rusty Parrot is Jackson's most acclaimed lodge. The hotel has earned a long list of awards and been featured in national and international publications. Like the town itself, the Rusty Parrot is a paradox: A family-run 32-room lodge that's one of the top small luxury hotels in the world. It caters to the traveler—not the tourist. The owners and staff delight in sharing inside information about the town and area they love. Their passion for Jackson Hole and personal attention to guests just isn't found at larger hotels. Earning the AAA Four-Diamond award for eighteen years in a row attests to that passion.
While each room at the Rusty Parrot is individually appointed, there are some aspects that are constant in every room: All have the finest linens, plush towels, soft terry robes and slippers, L'Occitane bath amenities, flat panel satellite television and free wireless internet. In a free-standing facility on the property you will find The Body Sage Spa home to some of the finest massage therapists and estheticians in the valley. Good food, good wine, good service and good company are all part of a great dining experience. Dinner at the Wild Sage offers a Jackson Hole perspective on fine dining and extraordinary hospitality. The 8 table, 32 seat Wild Sage offers exceptional regional cuisine rooted in classic preparation and incorporates the West’s finest and freshest meats, sustainable seafood, and organic produce and ingredients. And during your stay perhaps the owner will share the story on how the property got the name Rusty Parrot, since parrots are not the first thing you think of when planning a trip to Wyoming!

Reviews for The Rusty Parrot Lodge
Can't say enough good things about the Rusty Parrot Lodge and Spa. From the moment my husband and I arrived, we were greeted warmly. That was the case throughout our stay. The staff could not be more courteous and helpful. The Rusty Parrot itself is just lovely. Our room was spacious, extremely comfortable and immaculate (very important to us), Twice-a-day maid service was a special touch (with chocolates left every evening). The decor throughout has a wonderful, charming "western" feel (but not "over the top"). There's a beautiful wood-paneled library on the second floor (with a fireplace) where coffee and tea are always available (and delicious chocolate chip cookies in the early evening). On our one day of rain, it was a great place to just relax and read. We also took advantage of the Rusty Parrot Spa and had massages and other services. It was first rate. We enjoyed our dinner at the Lodge's Wild Sage Restaurant; but, have to admit, found the service a bit pretentious. Really don't need to have every ingredient and all the sauces explained. But, overall, staying at the Rusty Parrot Lodge made our trip to Jackson Hole extremely enjoyable and we highly recommend it.

This was our first time to stay on the lower level. Room was comfortable and quiet. Staff continues to be efficient and accommodating. Food was good and if anything was improved from our last visit in May. Great location for downtown activities.

I preface this review by saying that the bed was comfortable (barring the pillows which led to an uncomfortable night's sleep), the fittings worked and the staff were attentive. However, this is the sort of place where even though you pay a fair amount of money for the accommodation ($400+), it's still the sort of place that will charge you $10 for a glass of orange juice (actually the price on the menu). The room was simply a bed, bathroom, television and table. There was no fridge and no tea or coffee available in-room. My wife attempted to try and make a cup of tea in the evening in the facilities provided in the library only to return with it lukewarm as the water was cold. There is no breakfast included - you have to pay for that too. All in all this is a place you would stay for the 'experience' rather than for any sort of value.
Quiet, small and very welcoming hotel in the heart of Jackson Hole. Food and service top notch, staff very attentive to guests needs. Spa is small but great people and good atmosphere. Would recommend and hope to return soon.

Great boutique hotel in Jackson with wonderful and accommodating staff and walking distance to everything in and around the square.. Love the small feel of the hotel and the great little restaurant on property called the Wild Sage.. Book early though as it does fill up..
