Whether it's some local fresh oysters and a cold glass of wine, or just a quiet stop in a historic inn, restaurant, speakeasy, this place has never disappointed. Will need to come back for Brunch or dinner, the menu looks amazing

We've eaten at the restaurant many, many times...the food is ALWAYS top notch. This past week, we had the pleasure of staying at the inn for the first time and it was superb! Since the restaurant is closed on Monday and Tuesday (we were booked for Monday and Tuesday night), we literally had the place to ourselves; the outdoor seating is spectacular, quiet, picturesque - everything you need to relax and decompress. The staff are beyond compare. From the minute we arrived, they were welcoming and eager to make our stay perfect and it was! The room we stayed in (The Cocoa Room) while contemporary in design, was 100% warm and inviting and immaculate... the in room Nespresso machine was the icing on the cake! Breakfast (like the dinners at JH) was outstanding...I had the chef's mushroom/cheese/onion omelette (seasoned with herbs like rosemary and thyme)...DELISH; but first we were served cinnamon puff pastries, followed by local seasonal fresh fruits; french press coffee...top of the line all the way! As if that's not enough, Jedediah Hawkins Inn is literally smack in the middle of Long Island's North Fork Wine Trail....surrounded by outstanding vineyards AND restaurants. I cannot overstate how happy we were or what a great time we had. Give JH a try - you won't be disappointed!

Jedediah Hawkins is awesome. It is more than a restaurant it is an experience! The venue itself is beautiful and the food is fantastic. Be sure to walk around inside and out to enjoy the beautiful architecture and grounds . Make sure to visit the speakeasy downstairs.

This is an old country house with rooms to rent but the restaurant and eating areas are what brings me back again and again. Their bunch on Sunday was outstanding. I had the eggs benedict was really good with a little spice to it. We also had the breakfast flatbread with the egg on top, nice taste. Also don't miss the "Speakeasy" in the basement.

Charming rooms, friendly and helpful staff, and a wonderfully sumptious breakfast (which happens to be so needed if you plan to go winetasting). We had a great stay and would love to go back if we organize another trip to North Fork.
