Very elegant location with outstanding food. The service for the wedding was impeccable and the staff are friendly and very helpful. We loved every minute of our experience. And, the spacious, gorgeous bridal suite might be the nicest on the entire East End of Long Island. Highly recommend for all occasions including just a romantic dinner with your significant other.

I hesitate to write a negative review of a beautiful inn, in a stunning setting. The service tried hard, and were nice. But, after a 5 hour drive, when you are paying +$500 a night, and arrive at 11:30, you want to sleep, more than anything else, more than the ornate curtains, and the interesting local artwork, and the fancy soaps. Room #1 (Sage) had a sagging bed. I would have slept in it had it not been 77 degrees (a/c was not working.) We finally called the evening person, who lives off premises. I didn't want to call at 1:30 a.m., so I texted, but he didn't answer. When we called, he said he couldn't fix the a/c, and to look around and see if there is a different room. We are walking around in robes, with our suitcases, turning on lights, looking for a room! We find the dreaded Indigo Room (read other reviews) next to the kitchen, smells like a grease trap. The a/c works, but has a blinking bright blue light. We are up from 2:30-4:30 at this point, too wired, no sleep, and the alarm clock starts buzzing. I put it in the hallway. Then the kitchen workers arrive and start clanking. They refunded us everything, and we finally went to the Bay Suits, where we were extremely happy.

Took our yacht out to Jamesport last weekend for a friends wedding. Had a chance to have a meal at Jedediah Hawkins Restaurant. What a great step back in time venue. The food was incredible as was the service.

We ate dinner there on a Saturday night and sat outside on the patio dining area. Beautiful atmosphere surrounded by lovely landscaping, drinks, appetizers, and entrees all delicious! I recommend the short rib. They lost it at dessert though. An $18 brownie sundae for 2.. it came and literally had no brownie in it so we asked for another. The waiter completely forgot, so we just had him take it off our bill all together. The rest of the meal was so delicious though, so I'm still scoring high. Definitely check out the basement speakeasy!

We recently stayed at the Inn to celebrate our 10th wedding anniversary and we weren't disappointed. The entire staff went above and beyond to make it an enjoyable and relaxing stay. We loved being so close to our favorite wineries and restaurants. But we really loved staying in too-- exploring the grounds, sipping wine on the deck and dining at the restaurant - right below our room! Fantastic wine and food. Again, the staff - very accommodating and experienced. We can't wait to visit again soon!
