What a place - its completely hidden in the suburbs of the city. The walled gardens, ornate flowers, Spa and wildlife where a huge surprise - a safe guarded Oasis from the city. I had a suite room which was enormous, nice little touches like fruit and Slow Gin in the room just gave the place a real polished feel. The Food was pretty spectacular as well and I ate in the Hotel all week as a preference over going out with the work team with me. if you are looking for a safe sanctuary in Jo-Burg I would recommend this in a heartbeat - if you have a few rand spare a suite in the lower courtyard (recommend room 7!) gives it a special feel.

Sadly I only stayed for one night and didn't have time to enjoy all the amenities as I arrived late and left at the crack of dawn. I Ioved all the personal touches including being greeted by name as I walked in. A nice simple touch was the international plug in the room. Dinner in the restaurant was delicious.

The hotel rooms are very large. The food very good. The staff helpful. The entire grounds were full of flowering plants. We were with a tour group passing thru town on way to Krouger Game Park and so glad we stayed here. Also went to Soweto and Apartited museum both worth the time With A Guild. This

This little hotel in Sandton, a residential and business area north of Joberg was an ideal place to start our photo safari. It is private and luxurious and the staff will spoil you with their service and friendly attitude. The meals were exceptional the two nights we stayed there. Two thumbs up!

Just driving into Fairlawns gives you a good feeling. We were taken care of so well. Our room was a VERY spacious suite and beautifully decorated. We took advantage of the superb spa and then had a true gourmet dinner-some of the best food we had in South Africa. Breakfast was wonderful as well. It is about a half-hour or forty-five minutes from the airport . It was such a lovely break between our Kings Camp Safari and our safaris in Botswana. I highly recommend this special hotel.
