Best way to start a vacation

The staff at this hotel was amazing. The restaurant staff was so friendly. They also helped our group out twice. Once by going back to airport to retrieve lost luggage and then to help our friend get medication that he left at home. Our rooms were clean and the food was good. Loved having a shuttle to pick us up from the airport. There was 17 of us

They stole 3.000€ in my room

I was in the hotel “holiday in “in Johansburg and I left my documents in the room the night of 8/12/2023 and somebody get inside and take my debit card and 200$ in cash . I spoke to the girl at the reception and asked her to call me a taxi because we had a reservation at a restaurant. She kindly recommended that we not take our card or wallet since it is dangerous and it would be better to leave it in the room. She never told us about the existence of a safe box! We listened to her and my friend go back to the room to left all our wallets in the room, we only took the phone to pay with it. We arrived on 8/12/2023 in Johannesburg from Zambia, we went directly to the hotel since the proximity to the airport was convenient for us since the next day we had our flight to Spain and Ecuador. We only stayed one night in Johannesburg and it was at the hotel. If you check the cameras you can see that we arrived at night, we spoke with the receptionist and we went to eat. without carrying anything more than our phone following the advice of the reception. The next day we went to the airport and took our long flight. I was flying to Ecuador and I had three days of travel, that's when I realized when I went into my bank account that there were many debits that I had not made! So I checked my wallet and my bank card was not there, Of the $500 I had in cash, I only had $300 left. Approximately the expense is about €3.00O including currency exchange for each purchase the workers of this hotel stole my card and money in my room., I trust your hotel and look what happened, you destroy my economic balance, they spent 3.000€ buying in different stores in Mall Of Africa . I need a solution , I already denounce to the police and I will do everything to holiday inn hotel be punished. I need you hotel insurance give me back my money . Regards Nicole

Thank you for a beautiful experience at the Holiday Inn JHB airport from William, Linda 2 and Happiness. Food was nice and the customer service from the 3 above was excellent. They were attending to me the minute I stepped into the restaurant up till I took the Shuttle. Helpful in carrying my luggage too

The hotel is clean and the staff is beyond helpful. Beds were excellent as were the pillows. The restaurant was also excellent the staff were extremely polite and helpful. The breakfast was the pleasant surprise. Lots of choices and the food was delicious. The server Happyness was attentive as were the rest of the staff
