We stayed 5 days at the Golf & Beach resort. The rooms are very spacious and well equipped. Service is quick and easy. You know its a good day when you open the balcony doors and see the blue sea right in front of you. The resort is built like a small village and it is very cosy. It has the feeling of a small alpine village. The resort is new, so some minor issues still arise and not all commercial spaces are up and running. Just two restaurants service the area. Still the food was very good and prices reasonable. The Thracian Cliffs golf course looks amazing, I don't think I have ever seen views like these from a golf course. At first the course looks like a monster, with water lurking on the right and thick bushes on the left. How ever after two rounds of golf, you will find the right lines and landing areas and the course is very playable and fair. Just choose the right tees, don't go for the blacks! There are two other courses/resorts just 10minutes away. Both have great facilities and are worth a visit as well. I suggest taking a package with a visit to all courses.

Being in Thracian Cliffs for the third time (in July 2017), we have noticed few new issues that are not in line with the luxury prices. First, it is not normal to have problems with beach reservation, because of the "clients from outside the resort"; the resort customers must have absolutely priority. Second, the shop area was dramatically fell down in quality and products offer, looking like a poor shop in communist era; this produce a very bad impression for the whole resort, and send the customers to spend the money somewhere else... The potential of the resort is exceptional, view is stunning, beaches are very nice, rooms comfortable, most of the people are friendly, but the management should be more careful to services, offers and details that can build or ruin the image of a luxury resort.

This resort sits on the shore of the black sea and has an awesome view. It is a little more expensive then its local competitors but well worth the little extra cost as Bulgaria in general is so cheap. the rooms are very large and modern, the staff attentive, the food excellent and the golf course one of the most spectacular in Europe.

Golf course is amazing with spectacular views from the cliffs. Quite difficult to play namely in windy weather. Very intensive golf experience. Unfortunately the service on the golf course was not excellent. There is any real clubhouse, what is a pity. There is a restaurant which is signed like clubhouse but it is outside the Pro shop building and you should walk several minutes there what is very unusual in good quality golf resorts. It means that there is any restaurant near by where you can drink a coffee, water or bear just before going to the first tee. There was a kiosk by the first tee, placed in a tent with coffee machine, bar, refrigerator, and a bear tap, outside were tables, chairs and umbrellas but it was closed. When we were asking why it is closed the staff replied that that's why it is too hot:-) Wowwww. Fortunately there was a buggy bar on the course. Accommodation was fine, a nice apartment with everything you need. There are two beaches, Bendida - a bigger one and Argata, a smaller one. Beaches were excellent, natural, with cabanas, very nice and romantic. We had a lunch at Bendida beach twice and the food and the service were really excellent. We had much worse experience at Argata beach, the staff was mostly reluctant and one day it was a real disaster as the staff get drunk - one girl of the staff celebrated her birthday during the shift and the waiters were really inapplicable:-):-):-) not able to work, sometimes not able to walk, they mismatched all the orders and bills and the guests were either laughing or shouting. On the other hand we have to commend the staff of the clubhouse restaurant and Geti restaurant, where the food and services were really very good. We couldn't understand why the grocer's shop in the resort looks so empty without any range of goods. The staff at the reception and in general (with some exceptions) had quite a poor knowledge of foreign languages what is not usual in 5 starts resorts. It looked like it is a problem to get a good employees to work there..... In general it was a fine holiday and we are considering to come back, but wish the servis would be much better the next time. In case of the staff, it would be fine not be not only haughty, but also diligent, humble and compliant. The impress is that they are sometimes a little bit lazy.
