Kenwood Inn and Spa

One of the most friendly, relaxing and serene vacations I have ever taken. Highly recommend!

We paid over $2,300 for two nights, and the service didn’t match the price. At these rates, consistent professionalism is the baseline. Guests come here to celebrate or unwind, and this hotel has plenty of competition. We’ve had better service at much cheaper places. We won’t be back. At check-in, the only front-desk employee walked us to the room but skipped the property tour because another guest was waiting. He said he’d give us one that evening (he was on until 11pm). We planned to tip him after the tour. On our way out, we saw him give a full tour to a couple who’d just arrived. When we came back that night, he gave us a cold look instead of the tour. The next evening he glared from behind the desk and didn’t even say good evening. Only on day two, after we asked a different employee for a tour, did we learn about the complimentary breakfast, wine hour, and dessert wine/coffee bar. We missed all of it on day one because no one mentioned them at check-in.

We enjoyed our short stay at the Kenwood Inn. Upon arrival, you receive some wine and are provided a walking tour of the property. Rooms are spacious and clean. The hot tub is the size of a small swimming pool. Coffee, tea, fresh baked cookies and water are available anytime. Dessert wine was available in the lobby in the evening as well. No on-site dining, but there are a few places to eat within a few miles.

Our stay felt magical, like we were in Europe instead of an hour and half from home. The room, grounds, staff..everything was almost perfect. We were celebrating our 38th wedding anniversary and the acknowledgement from Kenwood Inn was a bit underwhelming A handwritten note and small personal size cheesecake in the fridge which we almost missed. We made the best of it and would definitely recommend Kenwood Inn and Spa .

Best hospitality we’ve ever received at a resort. Being from Napa Valley, we feel like our hospitality industry has spiraled downwards. Coming over the hill to Kenwood has reminded us of what hospitality is supposed to make us FEEL like. Incredible staff, beautiful property, and fantastic homemade cookies at reception. We will be taking many more staycations at Kenwood Resort and Spa.
