Stayed there for a night with my wife. The resort surroundings is excellent and clean. Amiable staff members. Room was very neat with all required amenities. As I told a staff during a talk that we were newly wed, they surprised us with a romantic room arrangement when we returned back to the room in the evening. Would definitely suggest the resort. Hope to be back again with family.

En route to the beach from the mountains this was an ideal place to explore the backwaters. The hotel was I believe originally built by an international chain although locally run now so it doesn't boast the authentic rustic building materials of some other resorts but none the less has been constructed beautifully and sympathetically to blend with the environment. The resort centres around a beautiful lagoon the far side of which lead into the lake and the pool and spa complex are impressive and luxurious. The main restaurant has a good but predictable menu. However the real gem which few other residents seemed to realise is that if you walk right round to the far side of the lagoon there is a cocktail bar and a Japanese seafood restaurant overlooking the lake which served the most amazing food - we ate there both nights and would thoroughly recommend.
