The Zuri Kumarakom

The property is exceptionally beautiful and the stay along side the staff that has been working are extremely hospitable and extremely kind making it an amazing experience. The reason for 4 stars is mainly the things that may be lacking 1st the moment we arrived at the reception i left my car the staff unloaded all the baggages i was then told to park the car to the parking they also sent a buggy to pick me back from the parking spot as its quite a walk from the reception but after checking in if you have to go to the parking or come back from it there is no assist. Secondly the for the rooms the temp is set between 20-24 degrees for all the catagories for the rooms the only issue i faced was the ac hardly cooled reason being the room was too big for the size of the vents provided as the sealing height for the cottage rooms were too high as well as the placement of the vents being at quite a height causing all the air to go up rather than towards your guests the fan did compensate for the lack of cooling in the room so it was managable we also did request a repair for the same the guy did turn up but didn't make much difference other than that the stay and the staff provided it to be an extremely good stay

We had a very nice and relaxing stay at The Zuri Kumarakom. The resort is in a beautiful backwater location with a calm and peaceful atmosphere, perfect for relaxing. The rooms were spacious, clean, and comfortable, and the staff were kind and helpful, especially Mr. Nikhil and Mr. Santosh. The pool and spa were very good and made our stay even better, and the gardens were well maintained and pleasant. The food was okay but could be better. We also liked the small thoughtful details, like how quickly they provided a hygienic sanitary pad with proper packing. Overall, we had a great experience and would happily stay here again.

Stayed: April 2026 | Deluxe Room | Family (2 adults, 1 child) Booked through HDFC Concierge, who mentioned a possible room upgrade if availability permitted. The hotel was fully booked during our stay so no upgrade came through — entirely understandable, and the Deluxe room was more than comfortable anyway. One step above the base category, well-appointed, clean, and opened to a lovely outdoor space. The real showstopper was the sunset over Vembanad Lake. Genuinely breathtaking — the kind that makes you put your phone down and just watch. Breakfast was included and struck the right balance — sufficient variety and quantity without being excessive. Dinner was equally good in quality, though portions could have been a touch more generous. Not a dealbreaker by any means, but worth noting if you have a hearty appetite. The pool was clean and well-maintained, and the overall property is beautifully kept. Staff were courteous throughout — attentive without being intrusive, which is exactly what you want on a leisure stay. For a one-night family stay, this ticked all the boxes. At the price point we got, it’s outstanding value for a 5-star lakefront resort. Would return without hesitation.

What a fabulous property and amazing staff. This is a sprawling property right at Vembanad Lake and a community-like layout of rooms. Their hospitality is great with a pretty amazing restaurant. Rich in flora and birds. You literally can spend two days just inside the property without having to step out at all.
