Reviews for Keswick Hall & Golf Club
Truly a delight. Warm and Cozy, very elegant. Fabulous staff. Unfortunately and fortunately it will be closed for some toe for major renovations. Loved the golf course and the infinity pool, heated to a delightful temperature. A wonderful staff who took care of us well.

We stayed at this very beautiful place with our friends for a few days...we had stayed there several years ago when the current owners first took over....the place is beautiful and the staff is excellent....however they have some challenges tgat need to be addressed. since we were there in late October we found out tgat the room thermostats did not work....no hear....not good for a place that is supposed to be five star....

Our business group had a meeting at Keswick Hall (about 30 people). The ambiance is classic Virgina hunt club with a tan updated setting (e.g., infinity pool, elevators with dours painted to look like room doors). The wooden floors creak, but the property is very well kept up. My large king-bed room (#35) had great views out of windows on 3 sides. The room, bed, and bathroom were well appointed and homey. My only complaint is the backward electrical system. My room had multiple extension cords running behind furniture and inadequate outlet space for personal electronic devise charging. The desk in the room gaught intense afternoon sun, making it necessary to pull down the share and darken the room to work at the desk. Most people won't be coming her for business meetings so this may not bother many people. The free WiFi throughout the property worked well, as did the AV systems. The heat and AC also worked well. The housekeeping was fine, but ran late into the day. People who cannot negotiate stairs will have difficulty with some rooms, so make any mobility problems known to management in advance. Many of the staff are interns or students and some of the younger folks were not oriented toward guest services. This included a, "Sorry, nothing I can do" response when the the airline boarding pass printer failed. This is a charming countryside getaway.

Keswick was such a beautiful property. I stayed for two nights with my girlfriend and we both have only had such great things to say about the entire stay. From the moment you arrive, you are instantly taken back by the breathtaking views. The hotel seems to roll right into the hills of Charlottesville and that was just the beginning. The interior of the hotel was extremely majestic, and above all clean. We stayed in a room which overlooked the golf course, and the cool mornings were gorgeous to wake up to some fog along the course, before becoming a beautiful clear day. We enjoyed coffee most mornings on the balcony, which was always delivered quickly and efficiently. Our most memorable experience of Keswick were the lovely and attentive staff. The hotel and restaurant staffs were all so accommodating, no matter the request. The restaurants at Keswick were all above my expectations in terms of the quality of food. The staff seemed to be young, but very knowledgable of both the property and the food/drinks. The lady and I will surely return soon for a weekend getaway!
This is a different (So Much Better) hotel than the one we visited the last time. The people we reported were nice but virtually everything else needed serious work. The people are still nice, actually nicer and all of the glitches we griped about the last time have been fixed. The room was beautiful. The housekeeping immaculate. The fitness center was great with enough machines and equipment. The golf course is beautiful and so well maintained. The golf pro Bubba and attendant, Dave treated us like members. Felt very much at home. The resort is world class again and we can't wait to return.
