Very beautiful estate but that's where it stopped with us. The valet and reception staff were very friendly and outgoing. But, the restaurant staff in the Villa Crawford and Fossett's seemed to be lost and not knowledgeable of mixed drinks or the operation of the Point of Sale register. Fossett's restaurant was huge disappointment, food was nothing special and the service almost nonexistent. With the price point of the estate we were surprised to have barking dogs and kids running up and down the halls at 6:30 Saturday morning. Very disappointed!

We have stayed here many times over the past 5 years. The infinity pool is a real treat! It is heated year round, too. Our room overlooked the golf course this time and we saw beautiful sunrises. We dined on site at Fossett's but be aware they were not open for dinner on Monday or Tuesday, however, lighter meals are available at the Tavern Room 7 days/week. We had problems with wait staff and servers on 4 of 6 times we ate here. The servers confused "who got what" when bringing our meals. Charges were also mixed up, e.g. drinks we had were on the other couple's check and vice versa. We settled it among ourselves but informed the staff at checkout that quality in this area was lacking, plus our room did not have a security safe. We were told it would be referred to management and they would contact us...we're still waiting. Overall good trip but less enthused than previous visits.

We spent 2 nights at Keswick Hall in a room with a spacious patio overlooking the golf course. Perfect for viewing the sunrise! The property maintains an old world feel but doesn't feel dated. Our room was large with a nice bathroom with a stall shower. Service was excellent all around and food was exceptional. We didn't get a chance to go to the pool but it did look inviting. There are numerous walking trails for all levels around the golf course which give you great views of the property. Plenty of self parking right near the front entrance. Very nice stay, would definitely recommend.

The setting is gorgeous overlooking the golf course. The golf is fun with fast play. Beautiful tennis courts and great bike riding through the adjoining neighborhood and property. The spa is very nice too. Food was delicious and all the people who work here are beyond friendly. My only complaint this visit is that there seemed to be a need for more workers because the service was a bit remiss. It was hard to find someone at the pool to order a drink or food, often the bartender was not at the bar to order a drink, there was no one at the golf course to take our bags and when we pulled up in the afternoon, there was no one to retrieve our bags from the car. I just have come to expect these amenities at hotels of this caliber. Aside from this, we still love this property for beauty and relaxation.

Wonderful staff and historic features. Peaceful views. We attended a lavish wedding on the premises and I can see how it would be an excellent weekend getaway if you can afford it. It was once a private home so rooms have that feel.
