What a beautiful place and with the potential to be a five star resort. Except, the staff is understaffed, clearly not well trained or motivated. In general it seems, as others have said there is a cost cutting effort underway but it is not reflected in the pricing. Our room was never cleaned the second day and when the turndown service came, they did not pick up our room service items or replace used towels. When I mentioned this to the front desk, they said sorry about that, thanks for letting us know. Not what I expected. Service in the restaurant and bar and at the pool was lackluster. All in all it could be a superb venue with just a little bit of effort. Golf course and golf course staff were exceptional.

Keswick continues to be one of the finest small hotels in the world. The food and accommodations are top notch. The grounds and pool make this a must visit spot. I recommend getting there early and visiting the pool with views that are amazing.

We had a room on the second floor with an outdoor patio. The room was large, clean, and comfortable. The hotel staff is very accommodating and helpful. There are three restaurants, each of which are very good. The golf course is excellent. The hotel is near Monticello and a number of Virginia wineries that make for an interesting day trip.

We stayed at Keswick for the first time on July 4th. What a classy and beautiful resort. The room was lovely with a fireplace and a terrace overlooking the gorgeous golf coarse. We sat on our terrace for dinner with my family and watched the most amazing fireworks display. There was also a Red, White, and Blue party on the patio with a DJ and loads of family fun. There are three pools at Keswick, but we chose to spend our time at the gorgeous infinity edge pool. The water was absolutely perfect. During our visit we took out the complimentary bikes and followed the hounds from the hunt club across the street. What an amazing experience that was. With Monticello just a few miles away, the vineyards all around the area, the great food, and the beautiful rolling hills as a backdrop, our experience at Keswick was priceless. And I can't say enough about the resort's staff. The management and the service was impeccable. If you play golf, you will be in heaven. What a hidden gem. We will definitely be back.

Visted keswick hall for dinner on a sunday evening. That place is great, has a golf course alognside and the outside seating has great views of it. The food is good and the service was also delightful.
