Everything about Knob Hill was fantastic! The room was large and very comfortable, cookies at checkin were wonderful, the restaurant is outstanding, best meal we've enjoyed in a long time! Continental breakfast was included in our stay and very good, and they will make you an omelet to if you desire. Everyone was helpful and friendly. Would certainly stay here again when in the Sun valley area.

We came out to Knob Hill Inn because I wanted an inn out from the middle of town. Knob Hill Inn is very nice and very clean. Our room looked out to the north and it offered a peaceful view, having a little balcony was a nice touch. The pool was very nice too, and the robe was a very nice touch. I like the free cookies at the front desk Too bad the restaurant was closed at the time I was there, I would love to have tried that.

I travel a lot and this was best experience in a long time. Staff great, room big and had balcony facing south for sun and opened door for fresh air and sunshine. Balcony great for reading and little sunning. Nice lotions, robs and slippers and i like a lot of light had plenty of additional light if needed. Food amazing and everyone super helpful!

Great hotel. Came in the winter and was really close to the slopes with plenty of drivers to take you wherever you need to whenever you want. The restaurant and bar are incredible. I also appreciate the great staff and management which were very accommodating every step of the way. The complimentary daily breakfasts were the best I've ever had at a hotel. Little details like the soft bedsheets and the Freshends in the bathroom really give that extra touch of luxury. Will definitely be back here.

Let's start at the end: On the evening of my fifth and last day at Knob Hill, I told the woman at the front desk that I'd be checking out at 2:15 next morning in order to catch an early flight in Boise. "Yes," she said. "And we'll be ready for you." Next morning another woman at reception meets me with a go bag full of food and drink. And she's made coffee. "I'm just sorry there isn't time to cook eggs the way you like them," she says. That's how good the service is. I've stayed in 5-star hotels around the world and have never seen such friendly dedication. On my first evening, I called down to ask for ice and for someone to light the wood fire in my room. Ice and fire were done in 5 minutes. The service never lagged from there. I ordered ski gear delivered (by Door 2 Door), tried on boots and helmet by the fire in the lobby, and the stuff was whisked away by staff. I called down when I was ready to ski, and my boots were waiting by the fire, already warm. John (a retired psychology instructor from Dana Point, CA) loaded my skis in the hotel car and drove me to Baldy. After skiing, I called while finishing a beer in the lodge and the car was there 5 minutes later. Breakfast (included) is fresh and good, and they'll make eggs any way you like. The bar is friendly and well stocked, pretty standard. I didn't have dinner there. In short, I'm spoiled forever.
