Ritz Carlton properties have been hit or miss over the past year. This property is one of the better managed properties. The staff are welcoming and professional. The hotel is set for a $100M upgrade in 2025 and was worried that the rooms would appear to be ‘tired.’ To my surprise they were fine. Nespresso machines, water pressure and beds were great. Turn down service was performed nightly and just had a truly enjoyable experience. Well done.

We had a wonderful experience playing tennis, the rooms were lovely, and beach beautiful, BUT everything turned south when we checked out and they tried to charge us for $380 worth of meals that we didn’t eat, and informed us that valet parking, which was the only parking option available, was $50 a day. All in, that’s $780 in unexpected and / erroneous charges! Not relaxing to argue that out.

Sabrina with Photography Concierge was wonderful! She took beautiful pictures of our family and was so so nice! Highly recommend doing photography with her on your trip. She was so fun and made pictures with 10 people plus a 15 mo old a breeze!!

We stayed one night in garden room by pool. Great location with chairs outside room. The room itself was spacious and so was bathroom. They had Diptique bath products that smelled wonderful. The staff was a little testy, the vibe was they were overworked. The front desk girl Sara was cold as ice, the 2 bar tenders at outside beach bar both seemed testy also. They commented on how busy it has been. The pool was large and beautiful. The chairs are taken quickly and it appears some pre book them? Not sure as only stayed 1 night but the majority taken by 10am with towels but no bodies. Their beach is smaller than I expected. There the girl in the house who books chairs was rude to the boy who gathered towels and brought us to a chair. She seemed to lord her authority over him. We ate at the Greek Restaurant and it was delicious and not overpriced. The bar is- be warned. 2 beers and diet coke was $30. The clientele was family oriented and not wild which was nice. I checked out and was told they would email receipt but nothing yet.

I can't say enough about the RC in Key Biscayne. We have been going here for the past 10 years and truly call it "Paradise". It's a hidden gem, you feel like you're in the Caribbean, but you are traveling to an island just a short distance south of Miami. The service is outstanding, and every staff member makes you feel they are there to help make your vacation exemplary! My family and grandchildren love going every year! Gino at the Dune Bar and Elvis the Food and Beverage Director go above and beyond to service their customers. Mr. Pickles from the Ritz kids is always accommodating and provides a great time for our 7-year-old grandchildren. It's truly Paradise!!!
