Stay in an Oceanside retreat at our enticing Key West hotel located on the beautiful Gulf of Mexico. This luxurious haven is the standard against which all other Key West hotels is viewed. The art of blending modern luxury and impeccable service with a premier setting has been perfected at our incredible Key West Florida resort hotel set along the waterfront.

Vacation in a new place. The hotel was very nice. Rooms had good view. Everything was quiet. We enjoyed the restaurant onsite and the poolside bar. Staff was the best

We really enjoyed our stay at the Hyatt Centric - the rooms were a good size, had all the amendities needed. Really restful and fun place to stay. Pool, bar and ocean access was all great. Nice to have access to Jet Ski tours right there. Concierge did an excellent job of booking excursions and scooter rentals. Was an all-around excellent week in Key West - great location to stay.

Nice place on the water & close to the main area of fun action of Duval Street and Mallory Square. Fun

The staff was outstanding and the location was great. I was disappointed in the size of the pool as it became very crowded during our stay. We also selected this hotel because it indicated it had a beach however, the beach turned out to be an 8 foot section of sand and rocks. I also did not like the new policy of "No Cash" on the property for any purchases.

Based on the cost of the property and my experience at other Hyatt Resorts, I was SURPRISED and DISAPPOINTED to discover that the property was very "public". That is, there is not controlled or monitored access to the property, limiting only hotel guests access. The small pool area was primarily occupied by drunk, non-hotel guests utilizing most of the pool lounge chairs while creating a non-Hyatt Resort atmosphere and experience for paying hotel guests. I observed the non-hotel guests being loud, rude and disrespectful to hotel guests and hotel staff. Because common area access to bathrooms at the property were limited, I also observed multiple non-hotel guests urinating in the bushes directly adjacent to the pool area. These non-hotel guests were most likely staying at less expensive properties with little to no amenities and so they were taking advantage of the amenities at the Hyatt property at the expense of actual, paying Hyatt guests. It would appear that Hyatt has made the decision to put revenue above guest experience by opening up their pool and pool bar area to non-hotel guests in order to generate more income. Additionally, there was no controlled access to the gym. I workout every day and observed non-hotel guests entering the property and using the gym each day. I had to wait to use some cardio equipment due to these non- hotel guests being present. Again, taking away from paying Hyatt guests experience. I do not recommend this property.
