Great place to stay. Location is great. This trip our room location wasn't as good as previous trips. View was parking lot and bikes with the water blocked by palms (2nd floor). Rooms are amazing size, but starting to show some age. Service was very good.

We are near yearly customers of Ocean Key. We had called reservations to book because we hoped for a particular room. We wanted to ask if it was possible to get that room, and what days we could get it during a two-month period. The week we went on was irrelevant to us. We were quoted a rate for a random available week and accepted it. When we got here, it was obvious that the guest population was very small. The breakfast room was empty. The pool was empty. Heck, the streets were the emptiest that we have ever seen. We were surprised, given how empty the hotel was, that the rate we had paid was the same as in 2021 and 2022, right after Covid, when it was next to impossible to get a hotel reservation anywhere in Florida. We visited Florida seven times during the post covid days—two times to Ponte Vedra, twice to Miami, twice to Key West (Ocean Key), and once to Naples—so, we know what we are talking about. We had a friend call and attempt to make a reservation for the week after our week. She was quoted a rate, literally $3,500 less than we were paying for our week. We have been long-term customers of Ocean Key, having rented their more expensive rooms no less than ten times over the past several years. We had thought that our business was valued. We have always approached Ocean Key to rent rooms directly so they could avoid an agent commission. We thought that gesture would be appreciated. Instead, our courtesy was seen as an opportunity to exploit our naivete. I accept full responsibility for my error in judgement. An unfortunate error that cost us almost $4,000 with taxes.* Always use a travel agent when dealing with Ocean Key or any Nobel House Resort. You must protect yourself from unscrupulous business practices. I promise it will not cost you more and will probably cost you less. Write me if you need a travel agent recommendation. *After much arguing, they finally gave us a partial credit.

Great location, but it ends there.

Thought this would be like the pictures show, but Ocean Key is in need of updating and repairs. Our room was musty and moldy and they sent room spray. Finally got someone the second day to at least clean the vent. Floor was also dirty upon check-in so they had to come clean it again. The location is fantastic, but this hotel needs maintenance badly. Some of their gym equipment also needs replacement. The staff is friendly, but only one person at the front desk tried to help resolve our issues and he ended up waiving our resort fee upon checkout.

We LOVED our stay at Ocean Key - from the staff, to the location, to the absolutely gorgeous rooms and views. We didn't have a single issue our whole stay - everyone on staff was friendly and helpful. The restaurants were delicious and the amenities even better. We will be back here as soon as possible!!

Amazing Resort

We stayed at Ocean Key for 9 nights March/April 2024. I wish there were more than 5 stars to give. The hotel is beautiful, excellent location , beautiful rooms and a great pool with amazing views. The staff is great. Every person that we encountered from the reception desk , to the concierge , to the great ladies at the pool bar and the gentleman that helps with the umbrellas and towels seem to genuinely enjoy their job and truly want you to make your vacation the best it can be. Special thanks to Nicki that helped us get an upgrade from partial ocean view to full ocean view for few nights. Both gorgeous. Can’t wait to be back.
