Had a fabulous two night stay at the Europe hotel. I booked via the iprefer website and as a titanium level was eligible for a wonderful upgrade to a Lakeview room 104. I commend the hotel for honouring the iprefer program and would book this hotel again if in Ireland. The room was very spacious. With sitting area and plenty of space for our luggage. The bathroom was pretty much brand new, it seemed, and the towels were the fluffiest I’ve come across. I enjoyed the bathtub for an evening soak. The stay was flawless from start to finish. The management is to be congratulated for having everyone on the same page of high service levels. The view out the window of the lake was to die for and I could have spent all day in that room. (It reminded me of being near Lake Queenstown in my home country). From our bed you could see the lake and despite it raining on and off throughout the stay the view was still absolutely mesmerizing. We did do a day trip to Dingle to do the wild Atlantic sea drive and it almost seemed a shame to spend the day outside the hotel. Had an excellent meal in the brasserie and the maître d on on 9 June 2026 in the evening made an extra effort to seat us as close to the view as possible. The same with the spectacular Panorama dining room where breakfast is served. I could go on but will concur with all the positive comments from other reviewers. It was one of those memorable, iconic stays that will stick in our memories for the rest of our lives. I would love to return if ever in Ireland again.

We stayed two nights at The Europe on a recent trip to Ireland. It was an outstanding experience. The hotel is beautiful and its grounds and views are even better. We had a King Suite with Lake View room. The room was spacious with a large sitting area and a writing area, in addition to the bed area. The room has built-in cabinets, closets, and luggage storage, which is really welcome to both organize your things and keep them out of the way. We also had a great deck with a wonderful view of the back garden patio and the lake. The bathroom was nice and well appointed, but oddly featured only a single sink. The towels were among the nicest I've ever encountered in a hotel: plush, soft, and absorbent. This is a relatively new hotel with a modern look. This includes the rooms, but also the lobby and other areas. There are wonderful libraries, games rooms, etc. throughout the main building. We never made it to a bar, but we did eat at Riva one night. The food was good, as was the service. The wine and whiskey lists provided many choices. There were many gluten free options and my allergy was accommodated well. It is a lovely restaurant with two oddities. First, you go through the lobby of the spa to enter it. Second, it overlooks a hot tub area. Watching people hot tub outside the windows is just a little weird, but it's the only way to take in the lake view. The staff was good and accommodating throughout our stay. Every interaction was pleasant. We didn't walk anywhere beyond the hotel. It didn't seem close to much, but that could only be our perception. We took cabs into town as we needed. I would recommend the local show of traditional Irish music and dancing called "Celtic Steps." It is based in Killarney and great fun! I would return to The Europe in a heartbeat and recommend it to others.

I have stayed at this hotel every year for the past 4 year and have never been disappointed, and will be returning in 2027. The level of service is excellent and the food and facilities are also exceptional. THe staff always go above and beyond and no request is too much trouble. I would particulary like to mention Padraic on the front door, always a friendly smile and chat, and treats all guests equally. The location and view are oustanding- book a lakeview room, its worth it!

Recently stayed at The Europe Hotel & Resort for three nights, and the standards throughout our stay were exceptional. The hotel is maintained to an incredibly high standard, with every area spotless and beautifully presented. The food was superb, and every meal was a pleasure. What really stood out was the staff. Friendly, professional, and exceptionally well trained, providing excellent service at every opportunity. The facilities were outstanding, including the gym. Our room and bathroom were pure luxury. Loved the modern in-room technology, especially the controls for the lighting and curtains, which added an extra touch of comfort and sophistication. Overall, a fantastic experience and a hotel we would happily return to and recommend to others.
