I had a fantastic experience thanks to Liam, who was an incredibly charming young man and an absolute pleasure to deal with. He was friendly, attentive, and went out of his way to make me a custom cocktail based on my personal preferences, which I really appreciated. His local knowledge was also impeccable, especially when he shared the story of Inisfallen. It added a really special touch to the visit. Liam is a credit to the Europe.

We stayed at The Europe Hotel & Resort for two nights and three days as a family—my wife, Kate, our daughter, Fleur, and I—and we honestly couldn’t have asked for a better experience. The setting is breathtaking , although the weather certainly helped , overlooking the lakes and mountains of County Kerry, it’s one of the most tranquil locations you can imagine. The hotel itself is immaculate, with every area maintained to an exceptionally high standard. Our room was spacious, comfortable and beautifully looked after throughout our stay. The housekeeping team did a fantastic job, and everything felt pristine from start to finish. The food deserves a special mention. The variety of dining options was excellent, and the quality of every meal we had was superb. Breakfast, in particular, was outstanding. The choice available each morning was incredible, with something for everyone, and it quickly became one of the highlights of the day. The facilities are good. We enjoyed the spa, our daughter loved the horse riding, and there were plenty of other activities available, making it a fantastic destination for families as well as couples. It’s also only a short drive from the lively town of Killarney, making it perfectly located for exploring the area. What really elevates this hotel above many other hotels we’ve stayed in, however, is the people. Every single member of staff we encountered was genuinely warm, friendly and professional. Nothing was ever too much trouble. They were always available to help without ever being intrusive, and they created an atmosphere where you immediately felt relaxed and welcome. It’s clear that this is an exceptionally well-managed hotel with a team that genuinely takes pride in what they do. We had a wonderful stay and left feeling refreshed, relaxed and already talking about when we might return. If you’re visiting the stunning County Kerry, I honestly don’t think you can go wrong by choosing The Europe Hotel & Resort. Five stars. Ten out of ten. Highly recommended.

Although the hotel views and amenities are breathtaking, the service leaves a bit to be desired especially in the panorama restaurant.

A fantastic hotel in every way - fabulous location, great service, food, amenities. The only negative thing was the fact that when we booked way back in January, we requested a high, quiet room away from the lifts. We were actually given a room on the1st floor, right next to the lift which operated all night! In fact there were 3 lifts very close to us. So not very impressed with their dealing with special requests! Also, the guests in the room above us were extremely noisy all night - so much so that my husband went down to reception at 3am to ask the night porter to go up & ask them to be quiet! We did ask if we could be moved to another room but unfortunately, the hotel was full. So we had to stay were we were. Needless to say this did spoil what would have been a very enjoyable stay.

We went with our 8 month old. We loved every minute and will return again. The brassiere was amazing as was our waitress Valerie. All of the staff were so friendly and a shout-out to housekeeping as when we returned to the room after our meal it was ready for us with the curtains closed, water on the bedside and the room cleaned. Beautiful touches. Can't wait to return again.
