The Europe Hotel & Resort

We attended as a family, with members visiting from four different countries. We visited over the early August Irish Bank Holiday, so it was quite busy, but the grounds are very big and there's enough to see locally that it never really felt busy. The food and service was excellent throughout. We had a variety of dietary requirements in our group, including young children, vegetarians and vegans, and all requirements were met, and all praised how excellent the food was. The staff were very attentive and friendly. We had a family member that was very sick (nothing to do with the hotel!) and housekeeping assisted without batting an eyelid. The indoor pool is very clean and well-kept, never got too busy. It moves into an outdoors area, and despite the air temperature not being very warm, the pool still was. It is well located for days out, with numerous locations within Co. Kerry to visit including golf courses, Killarney just down the road and the National Park and other walking routes nearby too. There's also kayaking, which was great to clear the hangover. The bar prices are what you'd expect at such a hotel, but not unnecessarily expensive, as one would sometimes find with such places. The bar staff were very polite, attentive and happy to offer recommendations on drinks. There was some musical entertainment in the evening in one of the bars, which went down a treat. The rooms and bathroom facilities were clean, well maintained, quiet and comfortable. A thoroughly enjoyable stay with memories with family that will last a lifetime.

A great hotel. Fabulous food, beautiful room. The pool was gorgeous and the outdoor pool/hot tub was breathtakingly beautiful with the best views of the surrounding landscape.

Visited family and went to the Europe Hotel for lunch. The location was spectacular, even with the cloudy skies. We had a great meal with perfect service. We would like to give a special mention to the concierge, Padraig, whom we met in the lobby while waiting for our family to arrive. He is exactly what makes Irish hotels amazing - super friendly, welcoming, and down-to-earth. Thank you to all the staff!

The Europe never disappoints! The staff are so warm and friendly, while still being professional. The setting is stunning and the hotel is so comfortable. We enjoyed all of our meals, in particular breakfast, such a lovely relaxed experience with a great selection of quality produce and stunning views. Service is excellent, special mention for Andrea who served us in The Brasserie, Alena at breakfast and Jacinta in Riva. Looking forward to returning!

We stayed here previously and this hotel is like no other. Credit is due to the Staff. They are amazing, courteous and make everyone guest feel special. The food is amazing, service is so professional. Rooms are modern, spotless and comfortable. Some times you could pick one or two staff members to credit but at The Europe you wound have to list them all. Thank you for a wonderful experience.
