The Europe Hotel & Resort

The Europe Hotel is simply spectacular. The views over the lakes and mountains are breathtaking, and the property itself is luxurious without feeling pretentious. The rooms were beautifully designed, the spa facilities outstanding, and the staff consistently went above and beyond.

From the moment we checked in until leaving the staff was incredible. The hotel was in beautiful condition and we couldn’t fault anything. The meals were all well prepared and service was impeccable. Thank you for making our anniversary break so memorable.

The Europe Hotel and Resort in Killarney is, quite simply, the finest hotel we have stayed in Ireland, and we have stayed in a few. From the moment we checked in, the experience was exceptional. The location alone is breathtaking – set against the lakes and mountains of Killarney, it is hard to believe somewhere this beautiful exists on your doorstep. But the hotel matches it at every turn. The facilities are world class, the standard of service throughout was genuinely faultless, and every member of staff we encountered was warm, professional, and attentive without being overbearing. If you are considering a stay, do yourself a favour and book a deluxe lakeside room. Stepping out onto that balcony to take in the view of the gardens, the lake, and the mountains is an experience that stays with you. We did not want to leave, and when checkout came, we did not – we stayed on, settled into the lobby with a glass of champagne, and made the most of every last minute. It has set a new benchmark for us entirely. We are already planning a return visit, this time for longer, to celebrate a birthday later in the year. We could not recommend The Europe Hotel and Resort highly enough. If you are looking for the best of Ireland in one place, this is it.

Had a fabulous two night stay at the Europe hotel. I booked via the iprefer website and as a titanium level was eligible for a wonderful upgrade to a Lakeview room 104. I commend the hotel for honouring the iprefer program and would book this hotel again if in Ireland. The room was very spacious. With sitting area and plenty of space for our luggage. The bathroom was pretty much brand new, it seemed, and the towels were the fluffiest I’ve come across. I enjoyed the bathtub for an evening soak. The stay was flawless from start to finish. The management is to be congratulated for having everyone on the same page of high service levels. The view out the window of the lake was to die for and I could have spent all day in that room. (It reminded me of being near Lake Queenstown in my home country). From our bed you could see the lake and despite it raining on and off throughout the stay the view was still absolutely mesmerizing. We did do a day trip to Dingle to do the wild Atlantic sea drive and it almost seemed a shame to spend the day outside the hotel. Had an excellent meal in the brasserie and the maître d on on 9 June 2026 in the evening made an extra effort to seat us as close to the view as possible. The same with the spectacular Panorama dining room where breakfast is served. I could go on but will concur with all the positive comments from other reviewers. It was one of those memorable, iconic stays that will stick in our memories for the rest of our lives. I would love to return if ever in Ireland again.

Amazing hotel, beautiful horses there ,I really enjoyed the outdoor pool! And really friendly girls at the stables, amazing hotel can't wait to go again 👍
