I was fortunate to spend five days at The Europe Hotel and Resort. As an experienced traveler I'd rank the hotel as one of the best European properties I've ever stayed at. Photos don't begin to do it justice. The setting and grounds are spectacular. It's the kind of place that as you walk by the huge windows you just pause and gaze out in awe. The hotel itself is understated, calm elegance. You just feel peaceful here. The staff is well trained, professional and compliments the ambience. My room was not facing the lake as it looked out towards the woods and the Killarney Golf Club. Don't be disappointed if that's what is available. It was lovely. The breakfast buffet that was included with the room was exceptional. Top notch with a huge variety including custom made options. In the U.S. you'd pay a fair penny for the breakfast buffet alone. The breakfast room is called the Panarama Room for a reason. Wow! What a view. With the hotel being a few miles out of Killarney you will need a car, taxi or opt to walk. The concierge will provide a map to walk about 3 miles or so through the park path. If you are a walker, this is a treat not to be missed. Get ready to take some pictures. I made a great choice of combining my stay at Hotel Europe with B&B's in some other small towns. It was a perfect combination.

We stayed for two nights last weekend and we can't recommend it enough. The laid back atmosphere and incredible views make The Europe the perfect place to relax and unwind. The weather was incredible which made the outdoor pool even more breathtaking. We went on a boat trip (organised by the hotel just ask reception) and we would highly recommend it. It was €50 for an hour and we it was incredible to see the White Sea Eagle's nest and the Innisfallen Island (only accessible by boat). The man who took us on the boat trip had fantastic knowledge and was very personable. He also gave us fantastic recommendations for a day out... we drove the gap of Dunloe, the ring of Kerry via Ladies View (stopped at AVOCA), down to Muckross and rented bikes (€15) to cycle around Louth Leane stopping at Dinis Tea Rooms and at Torc Waterfall. We would highly recommend this for a day out and back to the hotel to relax for the afternoon and evening! Breakfast was delicious and the room was great. The only criticism would be the rooms don't have air conditioning and it was very hot, however, there is a fan in the room. Overall an amazing stay and we will definitely be returning.

Amazing hotel with incredible surroundings. Everything was perfect. Food, service, spa was all exceptional and not forgetting the view. We had such a relaxing break that we did not want to check out. Will definitely be back.
Excellent stay, genuine, helpful staff. Beautiful views and spa facilities are fabulous. My only regret is not staying longer. Dining at the brasserie was also excellent, great menu choices and again top service from start to finish.
