The Europe Hotel is a class above the rest!! We stayed here as we were celebrating our 35 wedding anniversary. Everything about this hotel is top class. The rooms, the restaurants, the staff and the view was to die for. Absolutely one of the best hotels we have stayed in the world. Could not fault this hotel. Only regret that we didn't stay two nights, only managed one as we were travelling around Ireland and had time constraints.

The price is high, but totally worth it. The location provide stunning views. The service is excellent. The restaurants have high quality food. The room is spacious, well laid out, clean and comfortable. There are additional spa amenities that you can pay extra for--which can get very expensive. But the hotel is great to stay in, even if you choose not to use the extra amenities.

For a gift to yourself or another, to pamper and treat, the best hotel choice in Munster. The greatest part of the stay would have to be the staff. Wonderful manner with nothing too much trouble. As all great businesses know, its the people who make the company. Comhgairdeas go leir. xx

My second time visiting, such a treat . Visited on Sunday/ Monday which was lovely was the hotel was quiet. Breakfast was lovely, fresh fruit, lovely buffet and all staff very friendly. We had drinks and food in the bar which was also lovely, very tasty- it is quite expensive though - starters are about 12/14 euro. Mains were nice as were desserts, perhaps served a little too quickly and it would be nicer to have time to enjoy dinner- the bar wasn't busy so there was no need for the rush. Previously we had stayed in room looking directly onto lake whereas this time to the side, would recommend requesting room with balcony to take full advantage. I had a treatment which was very nice, not sure I would rate the spa area/ level itself as five star- it has an outdoor pool, steam and sauna which are nice and a relaxation area but that's it really. Products are lovely - espa hair and body products, the active level with outdoor pool and big pool are clean and well kept. Hope to visit again !

On driving into the car park of the hotel, I'll admit I was a little underwhelmed but the exterior of the building. However, on entering the hotel, I was completely blown away. The entrance lobby is amazing & has magnificant floor to ceiling windows overlooking the nearby lake & mountains. Although check-in was not until 3pm, we were kindly checked in at 1pm & shown to our golfside room with a balcony. The room was spotless with the comfiest bed & pillows. Although tea/coffee facilities were not in the room, once we requested these, they were immediately brought up. We took a walk around the grounds of the hotel & down by the lakeside, the scenery is amazing & it's so serene. I then decided to visit the pool area while my husband relaxed in the room for a while. Woah, the pool area is wonderful - one of the best I have seen (& we have stayed in some luxury hotels). Unfortunately I did not make it to the spa! We had dinner in the Panorama restaurant that night & it certainly did not disappoint. The food was amazing as were the serving staff. We even got a free glass of champagne as we were celebrating our wedding anniversary which I felt was a lovely touch. The manager made it his business to have a chat with all diners which I felt was another lovely gesture. After dinner we retreated to The Lounge & relaxed on the lovely large chairs in front of the fire. Overall - pure bliss! Unfortunately we only stayed for the one night. I would 100% recommend this hotel - food, service, amenities, staff, location, cleanliness - all amazing!
