This hotel is fantastic, every member of staff is friendly, respectful and just can’t do enough to make your stay enjoyable. Breakfast was amazing, so much choice and again the staff were excellent. The cleanliness of the hotel is extraordinarily, everything is spotless, the bedrooms are comfortable, spacious and immaculate. Definitely worth a stay, Killarney town is just a 10 min drive away, what more could you want

We ate in The Panorama Restaurant in Hotel Europe, but we didn't stay in the hotel. All of the staff, ranging from the footman at the door to the greeter at the restaurant and all of the waitress staff who served us were incredibly friendly, helpful and charming. We arrived at around 7pm and were seated at a wonderful corner table overlooking the lake. Fabulous views, even on a wet and dreary night.. Our dining experience from start to finish was exceptional. Vegetable textures starter was beautiful €17. I had pea soup €11. Fillet of beef €45 was nice. Steak was tender. My raviolli special €25 was light and tasty. ! Signature Delight desert €18..very nice. ! chocolate and stout desert €14 was very nice. Bottle of Leda Pucci Sangiovese €53 delicious! 2 Irish Coffees at €8 each were served in a very small glass but they were tasty. Total bill amounted to €200 and this didn't include the tip. The Panorama is expensive but it is also an experience. It's a special treat. We will return at some future stage and we would also like to return and try out the Brasseries at Hotel Europe and also the Riva. the 3 restaurants all serve different food at different pricing structures. The Panorama is considered the best and therefore it's also the most expensive. We were advised at the end of the meal that there was live music in the bar from 9pm, free entry. The music was good and the singer sang popular well known songs. The general ambience in Hotel Europe, in the Panorama and in the bathroom is genteel luxury. Everything is very tasteful. Staff were outstandingly friendly and pleasant, they were not fawning or sycophantic, they were genuinely nice and open and attentive. Also, very tasty breads selection to start with, along with lovely amuse bouchee. The Panorama is quite obviously aimed at the "Fine Dining" market.

After returning from a short break here and all we talk about is how fantastic it was . We had a lake view room with balcony which was brilliant and the views were amazing . We visited both the Panorama and the Brasserie Restaurants which had great menus to choose from and the Food was superb . As I have said on many previous reviews you can always judge a Hotel by the staff you meet and here was just a totally different level . Each and everyone we met from the moment we arrived could not have been nicer . We will return for sure .

I had the pleasure of attending the Europe today for a massage. Everything was wonderful from the facilities , service and staff. Emily gave me my massage and it was great. Felt very comfortable with her and she made it very personal, getting all the places I needed!! Thank you

The location is superb but I had reservations as this is a large hotel. I needn’t have worried as somehow management have mastered the art of spreading out a large number of people. The staff are friendly and helpful. Tables are cleared quickly and orders taken promptly to make service as efficient as possible, yet I never felt rushed over a meal even over breakfast which is arguably the busiest time. I wish all hotels were run like this. You can book the panorama for dinner but Riva and the brasserie operate on a walk in basis. We had a golf side suite which was immense and had side view of the lake. While lake view rooms do have an uninterrupted view, they also get the noise from outside diners and the bars. The pool and thermal suites were lovely too. The Europe is in Killarney National Park (which is stunning) and on the Ring of Kerry which is well worth driving, including the Skellig ring. It is also convenient for the Dingle peninsula.
