Reviews for The Europe Hotel & Resort
From start to finish it was superb. I had booked this for our anniversary although it was a bit pricey we wanted to treat ourselves. They had left chocolates on arrival in our room with a lovely note congratulating us. Had ordered choc strawberries which came very promptly and were divine. Can not fault this hotel in any way.

We stayed for one night b and b and evening meal. Had a superior golfside room...nothing amazing about the room, have stayed in nicer in cheaper hotels. Pool area and outside jacuzzi are fab. Dinner in the brasserie was ok; chicken, baked potato and corn on the cob fairly basic. Nice bar with trad music. Phoned reception and asked for blankets for sitting outside on the balcony...half an hour later porter arrived with bed linen. Breakfast very poor for a 5 star hotel and 3 different wait staff came to us and took plates away as we were still eating. Overall it was nice to stay there but my expectations were definitely not met for such a costly night away. Wouldn't be in a rush back to be honest.

This was my second stay at this hotel. It has everything you could want. The rooms, staff, spa, hottub, food are all amazing. It's like another world here from the moment you arrive. Pure relaxation. The views and the hotel ground are stunning also. I will definitely be back again.

Amazing place overlooking the lakes of Killarney, we stopped for a sandwich and beer, crab and prawn open sandwich as fresh as fresh could be, attentive waiter friendly and very pleasant - all great as was the beer. We then walked down to the lakeside, beautiful gardens and sun shining. Now for the sting in the tail, I had rightly tipped the server he deserved it but then I discovered that service charge was included it's written on the menu but is apparently not paid to the staff but to the hotel according to the staff. I queried this with management and they said it's paid to the staff as part of their wages. Take that as you will. I asked for the hotel's cut to be refunded and it was. My tip - pay the staff for service not the hotel. Fantastic place I'd love to go again, if they'll let me in!

In a league of its own, high end rooms, breathtaking views, expansive grounds, excellent spa & recreational facilities and professional staff who made every guest feel special. With in close enough proximity of Killarney and to explore the Ring of Kerry.
