Reviews for The Europe Hotel & Resort
Looking for 5 star? The Europe is the place! We spent 2 nights over Easter holidays in this wonderful hotel. Everything was just perfect, from our lovely family room which suited our two children 15 & 12. The wonderful facilities, delicious food and the most amazing views. The staff are second to none. Our first point of contact was the lovely Finbar who showed us to our room, briefed us on the history of the hotel and made us feel as if we had just returned home - it was our first visit! The hotels Panorama Restaurant was to die for, food was incredible supported by our wonderful waitress Mary - well done Mary you are a major asset to The Europe Hotel and finally the spa what can I say but pure amazing - treatments a tad on the expensive side but nonetheless. I dealt with Maria she was absolutely lovely such a lady and generous with her time. Congrats and well done to The Europe Hotel can't wait to return. This truly has to be 'The best hotel in Ireland'

Excellent facilities throughout the hotel. Staff were very friendly. Views from the back of the hotel are stunning. Hotel is exceptional in what it provides. Only criticism is the bedrooms are too warm which made it difficult to sleep.

Excellent service and the views were spectacular. All staff were friendly and helpful. The lake view room was stunning, and couldn't fault the decor. All round it was a fabulous relaxing trip. Would definitely recommend!
I've just returned from a 2 night break to the Europe. It was magical from start to finish. The views when we arrived were breathtaking. We had a golf view superior room which was lovely and spacious and very luxurious. The golf view is quite underwhelming having seen the views of the lake and mountains from the other side of the hotel, so next time we will definitely book a lakeside room. The sun was shining so we headed straight outside and took a walk through the grounds to the lake. There was a waiting list for the terrace so we took our drinks for a little stroll. Dinner was in the Panorama restaurant and was very nice, it was included in our package but would have come to 160 euros with a bottle of wine - very pricey for a meal I wouldn't write home about, apart from the dessert buffet which was amazing! We had dinner in the brasserie the following night which we enjoyed much more. Breakfast was very good. The pool and thermal suite area is just heavenly. I had a pedicure in the spa which was excellent. The only criticism I have of the whole area was when I was leaving after being in the pool, I wanted to have a shower and wash my hair, but none of the showers had shampoo and conditioner, just one or the other and empty bottles lying around. However it was almost 7.30 on Sunday evening so it was near the end of the day. The hotel is so luxurious and the ambience is so relaxing that we did not leave the place for the entire time. The staff were lovely and very professional. I cannot recommend the place highly enough, I have never enjoyed a stay like this and cannot wait to return.
