I stayed at this hotel with my boyfriend for my 30th birthday and it was absolutely fantastic in every way. The leisure facilities (active area) were second to none, especially sauna, steam room and outdoor pool with lots of space and relaxation areas. Dinner in the Panorama restaurant was spectacular with stunning views that made us feel totally relaxed. The food, Dinner and breakfast I cannot fault whatsoever (awesome chefs) !! Beds are extremely comfortable and shower was amazing. I went for a massage at the ESPA before check out and I must say this was the highlight for me, the staff were the most professional I have even seen and so friendly, I was at ease the minute I stepped in. The relaxation area in the spa itself is to die for I wish I could have stayed there all day. Overall this hotel is perfect for a very special occasion and it is worth every cent, you won't be disappointed.

An exceptional experience overall. Very pleased with all aspects from booking through to check out. Beautiful location and amazing design. The pool and outdoor Jacuzzi are a real treat. A great atmosphere in the hotel also.

The hotel is a great spot - set in stunning scenery and with great service. The rooms were of a good size and the beds very comfortable. We ate in the cheaper restaurant onsite and the food was excellent. Final bill was around £80 for food and a few glasses of wine. The breakfast was also top drawer, as was the bar for an evening drink which had live music. Although the hotel is very big, it never felt busy or impersonal. Well worth a stay!

This Hotel is stunning. The only problem is that it is too far from my home. Surrounded by green hills and next to a silent lake, this Hotel couldn't have a better location. Regarding the Spa facilities with their view of the lake, it just can't get any better. The casual Restaurant surpassed my high expectations, the fine restaurant is probably the best in the country. I sincerely hope to visit The Europe again.

Absolutely stunning location, stunning hotel and beautiful rooms w same stunning views. Amazing open air jacuzzi/pool. Downside is Service is a little hit and miss- quite slow for a 5star, and once the plates are dropped on the table It might be 10-15 mins before they come Back to you! The breakfast is fabulous, extensive Buffett style of hot food and/or patisserie rolls/breads.. superb. The food in terms of lunch and dinner is quite a let down though. Steak was quite rubbery, creamed spinach was odd and sadly Caesar salad looked like it had been thrown together in a very odd way. The attached photo being said Caesar salad. Soup was great, range of breads wide too but I wish they would try a little harder with the lunch and evening food- get the steak right...which should be simple - I requested medium rare and got rubbery medium, instead of lobbing a huge rasher on a Caesar salad do something decent with it. Quite unappealing and have stayed here twice. Make the cocktail list a little more 5 star too! Otherwise stunning location and beautiful hotel.
