Reviews for The Heathman Hotel Kirkland
I stayed here for work due to its central location. Breakfast was not included. No complimentary bottled water though there was water in the gym, which was underground. The gym was spacious; I would've preferred some natural light but the mirrors helped. There was only one bench but nobody else was there so it was fine. Equipment was well-maintained though there was a missing 20lb dumbbell, which was mildly annoying. I wish the music was a little quieter. This was the first time I saw a Power Plate in the gym, a sufficiently novel occurrence that I had to Google it to figure out how to use it properly. It'd be nice if there were instructions. The guest room was spacious. I liked the toiletries and definitely got the sense that housekeeping was meticulous. It all felt very classy... except they gave me the ADA room, which sort of ruined my experience. When I travel on business, I don't have particularly high expectations: I want a decent gym (ideally with a full set of weights and two benches to be on the safe side) and I want a clean, comfortable room where I can take a hot shower. The issue with the ADA room was the shower. There was no ground partition between the shower and the rest of the bathroom, which meant that water would leak out to the rest of the bathroom. I was also forced to hold the handheld shower head the whole time and couldn't leave it in the shower head holder angled down toward me, which meant that I would get cold whenever I had to temporarily place the shower head in the holder to grab some soap. That was inconvenient, to say the least. I was very tempted to rate this a three, but it is quite a nice hotel otherwise and I'm sure I would've enjoyed my stay more if I had a regular room.
I enjoy attending events at the Kirkland Performance Center but don’t enjoy the late night drive home. I have now stayed at the Heathman 4 times and will not stay anywhere else on the east side. Clean and quiet....one of the most helpful staffs I’ve ever encountered. Great restaurant with fabulous food. I have never had one issue with the room or staff in any of my stays. I’ll be back!

Our otherwise very nice stay was ruined by the fact that upon check-out, I left my power cords (computer and cell) AND my new BOSE headphones (in the case) on tthe credenza in the room. We left for the airport in a hurry as Uber was waiting on us. I called the front desk from the road to advise the staff to please hold those items to mail back to me in AZ .The short version: two days later, the cords were found---my BOSE headphones were NOT. The new management team needs a review of best practices and guest cost/value.. One month later, admitting the situation was not handled properly; I was asked if I would come back and stay or visit the restaurant again. The answer is NO.

My wife and I went on a cruise and stayed here rather than drive. The room was clean and nice. Staff was friendly and helpful. The shuttle driver went out of his way to pick us up after his normal hours.

We have billing issues, room issues with cleanliness, issues with items not functioning in our room, subpar food, and overall a disappointing experience. This was our anniversary and the Heathman let us down. We will probably never stay there again. They have gone really down hill since we stayed there a few years ago.
