Reviews for The Heathman Hotel Kirkland
I usually stay in Seattle but had meetings on the Eastside and this property had a great rate on Hotels Tonight. Charming boutique with outstanding, highly personal service and all sorts of luxury touches one expects at hotels with a much higher price point. There is a building being built directly behind the hotel so the more noise sensitive may wish to be placed on the front side of the building. Pleasantly surprised to have found such a gem in a great location and plan on staying again soon.

I just stayed a few nights here on business- with my company paying the tab. What a nice and comfortable boutique hotel! Small-ish, well-maintained with great service all along the way. The only "problem"- over $200 per night! I wouldn't shell out my own for this, as nice as it is. This place is in the center of the restaurant and entertainment area of Kirkland- a very upscale town on Lake Washington. The fitness center is one of the better ones you will find in a hotel of this type- roomy and lots of equipment. Also, if you have a car beware that there is no nearby overnight parking so you'll have to valet here at $18 per night. The rooms are nice and clean and well-appointed. The restaurant and bar are also very nice but the prices come along for the ride. I would absolutely stay here again- on the company's dime.

I stayed at here 2 weeks ago on a business trip to Redmond. I usually stay in the Bellevue area but wanted to find somewhere a bit quieter as its got quite busy in Bellevue the last few times I was there. A colleague recommended the Heathman and I wasn't disappointed. The staff were lovely, very friendly and helpful. When the room I was originally allocated was too close to the lifts (I'm a really light sleeper), they moved me to a huge suite which had its own sitting room and working fire! And it was very quiet. The hotel runs a free shuttle service within a 10 mile radius which I took advantage of to get into the office and back every day. The car was lovely and clean, the driver's were very friendly and most importantly safe! I have to admit I don't like the taxi's in Seattle, some of the driving can be a bit radical for my liking. I liked the hotel shuttle so much I booked it for my return to the airport, which was the same price as a taxi only a much nicer experience. I only ate breakfast at the hotel restaurant once but it was ok, I had room service one evening which was also ok. To be fair I didn't eat in the restaurant, mostly because the prices were quite high for my travel budget. The area is more suburban than Bellevue and consequently is quite and very nice to get out in the evening for a walk around. Loads of restaurants, cafes and a Starbucks within a couple of minutes walk. Its also a short stroll down to the lake which is nice. Definitely made a nice change from the bustle of Bellevue if you're looking for a quiet stay. Yet only a short car ride to Redmond or Bellevue.

Had a family Celebration of Life at the Hotel with about 3 families staying there. The Hotel did everything possible to accomadate us. Kelsey and Adri were outstanding. Total at the event was about 30. We have stayed at the Kirkland Heathman before, about 3 times, and will continue to stay there when in town. Clean first class room, newspaper, valet parking is extra but worth it. We used the resturant for a dinner and a breakfast, fair price, good food except for the weird dessert.

Small and friendly hotel in the middle of Kirkland. Loved the large corner room/suite. Staff were really friendly and accommodating - they had a roll away bed already set up in the room before we got there as requested by phone. The valet parking worked out well. We only used the restaurant once - for desserts after we had eaten dinner in Bellevue. The desserts themselves could best be described as quirky. I don't think I would bother with them again if I'm honest. But maybe that's a reflection on us not the food. Hotel overall was perfect though.
