We stayed here for a birthday weekend getaway and Seahawks game, booked through a great Costco package, and overall the hotel itself was lovely. Check-in was smooth, the lobby was beautiful, and our room was spotless and comfortable with nice toiletries. Dinner at the on-site restaurant was excellent (our waiter, Harrison, was great, as well as the rest of the restaurant staff), and we really enjoyed walking around the charming downtown Kirkland area afterward. We definitely plan to return and explore more next time — it’s such a perfect location for a relaxing weekend. Unfortunately, our otherwise wonderful stay ended on a disappointing note during checkout. When our car was brought back by the valet, we noticed yellow paint on the front passenger tire and wheel — clearly from the yellow-painted curb in front of the hotel. The valet didn’t mention anything, and my husband had to go back inside to ask for our keys. When we looked closer, we saw some small scratches on the wheel after the paint was wiped off. I immediately reported it to the front desk associate, who was kind, took pictures, and said she’d pass the information along to the manager. The next day, I received a call from the manager, Shannon. I was caught off guard by how the conversation began — rather than leading with an apology or acknowledgment that the situation was unfortunate, she jumped right into explaining that she had looked at the photos and “the paint was on the tire,” even mentioning she had Googled how to remove yellow paint using Goof Off or Goo Gone. I clarified that yes, there was paint on the tire, but also on the wheel before we wiped it off to check for scratches. She then asked, “Well, what are you expecting from this?” in a tone that felt surprisingly abrupt and condescending. I explained that I wasn’t necessarily expecting anything specific, but was disappointed that the valet had damaged the wheel — especially since I’ve had my car for two years without a single scratch. Her response was simply that they would “note it in his file.” The call left me feeling very uneasy. What I really expected was a sincere apology, some appreciation for bringing it to their attention, and perhaps a small goodwill gesture — or even just reassurance that the issue would be handled professionally. Instead, the tone of that call turned what had been a wonderful stay into a much more sour experience. I genuinely hope this feedback helps improve communication and customer care, because aside from that one incident, this hotel and location truly are beautiful and worth visiting.

The location is excellent. Staff are fantastic! So helpful and friendly! Rooms are very clean and very comfortable. Some quibbles: internet is poor, we did not get any housekeeping during our stay, exercise facility is ok (no rowing machine). Restaurant/bar does not stay open late. REasonable rates. I would stay there again. A tip: order your car from valet/front desk a solid twenty minutes before you want to go - they can get a little jammed up.

We stayed at the Heathman in August to attend a wedding. The staff was exceptional. I only wish i had remembered the front desk woman's name so i could give a great big shout out. So friendly and helpful. The hotel is comfortable and clean. Great location and walkable to the downtown. We rode the hotel bikes around for a nice tour. Highly recommend and would stay again if ever back in the area.

We stayed at the Heathman hotel for one night. They were so accommodating. We let them know in the morning what time we would be arriving and they had our room ready early before regular check in . The staff was so friendly and helpful. A lovely hotel close to everything in Kirkland. The menu for breakfast wasn't very appealing and their staff recommend a close by breakfast restaurant 2 blocks away that was excellent.

The hotel is perfectly situated in the heart of downtown Kirkland. The valet parking was great and the beautiful fireplace and lobby area was very inviting. The rooms were standard but very clean and nice. Service and food were great.
