I’m on the first night of a 3 night stay. This hotel is amazing. I’ve worked in about 6 hotels in my career and these people just “get” it. Spotlessly clean, great amenities, great service. Incredible views. Better hotel than the $1,000+ per night places I’ve stayed and worked at. Bravo 👏

What a wonderful staycation destination! The team working there made sure we had all we needed, the surrounding restaurants were amazing and the spa- well just let me say, don’t skip Still!!!! Our room had a wonderful view, the beds were extremely comfortable, and the tub was perfect for a soak!

Dec 8-10 2023 Woodmark Hotel, Kirkland WA. “Disappointed on many levels.” The hotel is located on Carillon Point Kirkland WA. a quiet lovely location on Lake Washington. I had previously stayed at the hotel many times in the 90s and 2000s. We upgraded to a lake view room although the view from the bed was of the hotel not the lake. The hotel’s website lists 4 Dining options. We endeavoured to order from one who informed us room service is Not Available. We later learned only 1 of the 4 filled the “room service” requirement. Why list Hotel Dining on website? The hotel does Not have an in house bar/lounge. So if you want a drink after exploring the local sites you must drive to a bar/location. The hotel charges a resort fee $125. In December I struggle to understand what it covers. The room was clean, bed comfortable and offers Molten Brown products. In the bath a trio of bath/hair products are located high on the wall and easily accessible if you shower but, for a long hot tub no accessible soap unless you stand up?? After the first night we spent a fun but very rainy day in Bellevue/Kirkland. On returning at 4:15pm we discovered the room had been attended except beds??? One queen had the pillows propped up and sheet pulled toward pillows, coverlet askew but a new folded robe sitting on top? The second bed looked untouched by housekeeping ..4 pillows at all angles; one on the floor; coverlet and sheets messy. We attended the front desk and assured Housekeeping would attend soon. An hour later I received a text advising “the hotel hoped our stay was wonderful.” I again reported beds and they advised someone would right immediately. At 6pm, almost 2 hours later, Housekeeping arrived. By then we were annoyed and intrusion not needed. At close to $1,000. CAN. for 2 nights. Very poor service on many levels. The hotel is nestled in a beautiful location but is incomplete or lacking service of most expected options. Staffing did not appear to be a problem. The front desk had 2-3 staff every time we walked by. On our final morning we went for a short walk along the adjacent waterfront meeting many guests and their dogs staying at the hotel. I love dogs! Later as we moved our luggage to our car in the garage we walked past a beautifully decorated indoor tree and curved staircase near the Spa. Unfortunately a dog never made it outside in time and the owner left the brown piles for someone else to pickup….can’t blame the dog! This has been a very difficult year. It was the first opportunity for a Mom to spend two days with her daughter. Sadly the venue did not live up to claims, expectations or past memories. Hope we will have another opportunity in 2024.

I recently had an outstanding hotel stay. Despite being on training, the front desk staff, particularly Alice, demonstrated professionalism and warmth. She was super helpful and friendly. The General Manager, incredibly nice, even assisted in charging my EV. Our anniversary celebration was truly memorable. Moreover, the lake view scenery from our room was amazing—undoubtedly one of the best in the Greater Seattle area. Highly recommend this welcoming and professionally run establishment!

My wife and I, along with our little shiba, recently spent two nights at the Woodmark. When I met my wife at the car after checking out, I said to her that I had told the young lady at checkout that the Woodmark was a notch above the typical American hotel, to which my wife immediately responded that it was several notches above the typical American hotel. This concludes my review, if you get my point.
