Reunion Resort & Golf Club

I am writing this to urge all travelers (especially Black travelers) to avoid Reunion Resort. What should have been a normal stay turned into an environment of extreme hostility, systemic racial profiling, and total disregard for basic safety. During my stay I encountered dangerous maintenance hazards and unprofessional behavior by front desk staff. When issues were brought to management's attention, instead of prioritizing guest safety and basic maintenance, leadership chose to turn their aggression on me. I was subjected to relentless, targeted harassment regarding payment verification for the exact same card the resort had already authorized and processed days prior. Staff repeatedly singled me out, forced invasive confrontations, and ultimately forced me to produce my confidential Address Confidentiality card issued through the State Attorney General’s Office for domestic violence victims just to stop their harassment. In the end, two of their employees (an account manager and “CFO”) admitted during a legally recorded conversation inside the lobby, that they actually “forgot” to send me proper verification forms via email. For Black guests considering this property: know that you risk being profiled, targeted, and subjected to interrogation by management the moment you step foot on this property. What this management team fails to realize is that their discriminatory conduct, hostility, and blatant admissions of fault are not up for debate. I have hours of continuous, preserved audio and video recordings capturing their actions and admissions. Reunion Resort is unsafe, and this management team has proven they treat Black guests with suspicion and hostility. Book elsewhere.

Overall stay was okay, the facility amenities does need some care and update (tennis court run down, golf shop closing an hour early, etc). Our WiFi did not work properly.

The building is showing some wear and tear, especially in the hallways. The pillars at the bottom near the floor are in bad shape. We went down the stairs and the bottom of the door to the outside was rotten.

Reunion Resort was awesome! We had a wonderful stay at Reunion Resort. The property was clean, spacious, and very comfortable, with everything we needed for a relaxing vacation. The resort amenities were excellent, especially the pools and beautiful surroundings. The location was also very convenient for visiting the theme parks and other attractions in the area. The staff was friendly and professional throughout our stay. We truly enjoyed our experience and would definitely recommend Reunion Resort. We hope to come back again in the future!

Everything was awesome! From the friendly & helpful staff to the gorgeous, spacious & very clean rooms! Will definitely plan another trip to the Reunion next year!
