Best bits - hot tub outside room! Stayed warm enough for even an early morning dip! LOVED fires in room - falling asleep to crackling fire, bliss. Joshua was lovely - thank you for the lifts to and from room in the golf buggy! Very close to waterfront for restaurants! Stunning rooms - turndown service with hot water bottles was bliss. Gorgeous indoor heated pool with sauna and steam. Loved the baboon visits ;) Just keep doors closed! Could be better…. Breakfasts were ok…more selection on meat types to cater for all preferences would be nice. Majority (99%) of staff were WONDERFUL but just a couple of minor things not so great.

When we arrived we were welcomed by friendly staff who went out of their way to make sure our check-in experience went well. All information we needed for our entire stay was explained to us and so it was. The rooms were exceptional with comfort the key to our stay. The meals we had were fantastic as was the service. Fantastic experience!

We had a fantastic stay at Pezula Nature Retreat! The hospitality was top-notch from day one—the team made us feel so welcome. We loved relaxing at the SPA, the facilities were beautiful and well-maintained, and the food was consistently delicious. A truly refreshing experience. Highly recommended, and we can't wait to come back!

One of the nicest places to stay and relax at the end of a 6 week tour of South Africa! The facilities are some of the best that I have encountered in the Southern part of the country!

This is very disappointing that this hotel is 5 stars and we had so many issues throughout our stay, on the first night during dinner we had Multiple miscommunications with the waitress, and this morning we got ready early for a yoga class which was confirmed with us twice the night before and when we arrived we waited half an hour before we went to the desk and they told us that the lady wasn’t coming, another issue was at 8am during breakfast we kept hearing constructions by the pool near the buffet which was disturbing, during 6pm a man was walking and accidentally stepped on a nail, when we informed the worker they told us that the area was closed but it was just a pole partition that wasnt even closed properly from the public, i came here with my toddlers and family and i couldnt imagine what would have happened if it was one of them, we came here to relax and enjoy however this is what we experienced through just one night.
