We have just returned from a ten night stay at this beautiful hotel . The staff are exceptional and provide such a high standard of service delivered with warmth & kindness. The restaurants , bars, spa and watersports are amazing . We will return thank you

The restaurant staff demonstrated a perfect balance of attentiveness and respect for our privacy, ensuring that we felt well taken care of without feeling overwhelmed. We stayed here in April. It is a stunning hotel. Great food. Beautiful views. We spent the first night in the standard room, which was ok, but nothing special & quite small/ dark. We then moved to a beach room, which was stunning (we decided to arrive a day early and they would not honour the same price for the beach room on the 1st night as we were paying for the other nights) It was a pain having to move rooms, and I’d have thought they would have honoured the original rate for an extra night. The first couple of days the service at the pool, was great- drinking water delivered as soon as we sat down. Unfortunately the last few days, this didn’t really happen, and no pool towels available (very annoying!) More shade needed at the top pool in the afternoon- too hot to sit by the pool. All in all though, a lovely hotel. Not perfect, but we would still return. We’d be more organised next time.

Simple put Pimalai is stunning. We had a great stay here. The resort is visually spectacular. The staff are excellent and everything is of a high quality. It gets hard having decided what pool to sit around or whether to go to the beautiful beach or a pool. We especially loved the trip out to Koh Haa, this was a highlight of our whole trip to Thailand. I last came to Pimalai 20 years ago before there were even the villa's. At the time it set a very, very high bar. Twenty years on and it is still setting it. We also enjoyed walking down the beach to visit the local town and try the restaurants there. In all Pimalai is fantastic and we can't wait to return.

We stayed for 6 nights in a two bedroomed villa in the upper resort. It was really difficult to find any fault with Pimilai. All staff were amazing. The grounds are stunning. The villas look brand new and you can see that they have an ongoing refurbishment programme. The setting is sublime and if you ever want a change from the resort facilities then a short walk along the beach in either direction takes you to lovely local cheap bars and restaurants not forgetting those in the small town as well. There seems to be a symbiosis between the resort and the town…. Really nice chilled vibe in the area too. Some very minor criticisms: When we checked out we needed to wait for 2-3 hours in reception whilst we were waiting to drive to Krabi for our flight. At no point did any of the staff come over and offer us some water or generally check if we were ok. In the 2 bed villa it would be nice to create an outside seating area that sits 4 people rather than just 2. Can’t wait to return….🙂
