Banyan Tree Samui

We had a wonderful stay and would like to especially thank our villa host, Mint, for taking such great care of us. The service throughout our stay was excellent and very thoughtful. Our room was beautiful, in a great location, and perfectly prepared for our honeymoon. The romantic decoration in the room made our stay even more special and memorable. We truly appreciated the effort put into making this occasion so meaningful for us. The Saffron dinner was also amazing – the food was delicious and beautifully presented. We would also like to compliment the staff members Diamond, Melon, and Luna. They were incredibly friendly, attentive, and made us feel very welcome. Their warm and professional service made a big difference to our overall experience. Thank you to the entire team for such a memorable stay. We are truly impressed and hope to return again in the future.

Our family of four (two adults, two kids) recently spent three nights at Banyan Tree Samui, and it was nothing short of amazing. From start to finish, the experience was seamless. The villa was "dreamy"—incredibly beautiful and as clean as it gets. We spent hours in the private villa pool overlooking the sea. A huge highlight for us was the hot pool; it was a brilliant attraction during the rainy parts of the day and perfect for a soak at night. The main hotel pool is stunning and calm, offering perhaps the best vantage point for the ocean. However, the beach was our personal favorite. We spent hours bodyboarding and relaxing at the beachside restaurant. A special thank you to the crew, especially Abby, who was so incredibly kind and helpful throughout our stay. We wouldn’t change a single thing about this hotel. It is simply the best!

We had a perfect five days at Banyan Tree Samui! We stayed in villa A11 and it was so beautiful and had everything we could have ever wanted. Outside it had a surprisingly large pool, comfy spaces on the terrace for relaxing and sunbathing and pretty views to the ocean. Inside: a comfortable lounge, coffee machine, kettle and fridge, huge bed, his-and-hers sinks, big bathtub and a shower where you could open the door and hear the birds whilst you showered. We used the gym every day - it was small but well equipped - and we had nice cocktails in the lobby bar. The main pool was peaceful and the beach is private and stunning: we enjoyed swimming, kayaking and watching the full moon one night from here. The food - whether breakfast every morning at The Edge - or lunch one day by the beach was absolutely delicious (I asked for an extra spicy dish and it was sooo good!) The breakfast selection and views from the terrace were such a treat. We walked all over the resort (there were some steep hills!) and didn’t use the buggies but they seemed to work well. We really enjoyed the location - so peaceful but we could grab to lots of attractions and walk to nearby beaches and restaurants. Finally, I want to say a huge thank you to everyone who works at the Banyan Tree - Abby who was our villa host, everyone we met at The Edge and the lobby bar and to everyone who cleaned and turned down our room - we loved coming back to see surprising gifts and smelling the beautiful incense and oil burner. I had high expectations for this hotel and it exceeded them - was so friendly and welcoming: like paradise!

We recently had the pleasure of staying at a Banyan Tree hotel, and the experience was absolutely exceptional from start to finish. The property itself is stunning — beautifully designed, peaceful, and perfectly integrated with its natural surroundings. Every detail reflects elegance, comfort, and a deep sense of relaxation. The service was truly world-class. Everyone was attentive, warm, and genuinely committed to making our stay unforgettable. They went above and beyond to ensure everything was perfect. The villa was spacious, immaculately clean, and thoughtfully designed with luxurious touches throughout. Overall, our stay at Banyan Tree exceeded all expectations. It’s the perfect destination for anyone looking for luxury, tranquillity, and impeccable service. I would highly recommend this paradise on earth :).

88 villas scattered around a big hill. Big terraces with sea views most of them. I wouldn’t say they are super luxurious and the furniture was a little dated & tired in places but that didn’t bother us as other aspects of the place made up for it. Buggies around the clock to move people around the enormous gardens was one the highlights. The beach service was top and there is a marine sport base to distribute snorkelling kits, Canoes; one catamaran boards etc. all free with the friendliest team. there is a small house reef with a small variety of fish but the coral is mostly dead. They are 2 very good restaurants & food can be served at the beach. Taxis to the local town costs about £12 each way. Lots of local restaurants to choose from. Nearest one is a Swiss restaurant 10 min walk down the road. They are also a couple of massage places on this road & a massive pharmacy. I gave this place a 5 ( it’s not often I do) it’s good value for money, the service is faultless even the gardeners give you genuine smiles. The food is amazing especially the breakfast and with breathtaking views to the hills & sea. I would definitely go back. Well done to this amazing team who do everything and more to please the clientele.
