Banyan Tree Samui

Rainforest Indulgence was such a treat. I spent more than three hours enjoying the spa facilities — the steam room, dry sauna, and jacuzzi pool with different types of water treatments — followed by a 90-minute deep tissue massage. I was guided through the whole experience by Massy, my massage therapist, who was incredibly attentive to my needs and requests. I really appreciated how much care and attention she gave throughout the treatment without ever making it feel rushed. The scrubs, lotions, and oils were all of very high quality and, importantly for me, gentle enough even for extremely sensitive skin. By the end of the treatment, I felt that I could completely let go. My body relaxed, my mind became quiet, and I was able to simply drift off and enjoy being taken care of.

Is it hard to write a review that does justice to this hotel. The staff and service they give are exceptional. The villas are luxurious and huge . Food is high quality, breath taking in choice, spa is world class . Thank you Tok for the best massage ever . Golf and Tak as villa hosts exemplify the best of the best . We are already planning return visit . Completely spoilt for anywhere else now . We also booked with Trail Finders who have been excellent .

We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful hotel! The service was exceptional, and everyone was incredibly kind and welcoming. A very special thank you to our amazing villa host, Tak, who took such wonderful care of us throughout our stay. We truly felt looked after and appreciated every little detail. We also had the pleasure of taking a cooking class at Saffron, which was such a fantastic experience! The chef was amazing, and the entire team was incredibly friendly and professional. We visited the Saffron restaurant every other day because we loved it so much. The food was delicious, and the chefs, waiters, and entire staff were absolutely lovely. We highly recommend this hotel and especially Saffron Restaurant with all our hearts! ❤️

The Banyan Tree Samui was wonderful. I rented one of the ocean facing villas. The grounds were well kept, and the service from everybody was fantastic. “MM”, one of the hosts who took care of me, was absolutely wonderful, and helped with scheduling excursions among other things, and always followed up very promptly.I really can’t say enough good things about the place and the service. The breakfast place onsite had a nice variety of things to eat, and the quality was also high. If you pick outdoor seating, you have a wonderful view, no matter where you sit. Overall, it was pretty expensive, but I think you get what you pay for; I think I felt the value. All of the food, regardless on-site location, was high-quality and tasty. If you ate at restaurants outside of the resort, you would definitely save some money, but there was convenience having great quality food on site and not having to travel for it. If you are traveling from the US, you will see that the “Grab” fares (Asia’s Uber) are considerably less than the US, which makes going places like the fisherman‘s wharf easy.
