The hotel is out of this world! Stunning views, hospitality, food, & entertainment! The rooms are very clean and the housekeeping staff are excellent, special thanks to “Duenpen”. I’ll definitely be back again.

Having already enjoyed two memorable stays at Banyan Tree Samui, my recent visit from 27 Apr to 5 May 2024, marked my third delightful experience at this luxurious retreat. Previously, I had the pleasure of staying in villas located in Areas A and B, each featuring a private pool which was perfect for swimming. The Villa in Area B offered the convenience of being close to the private beach, while the Villa in Area A boasted a panoramic view of the resort. This time, we opted for a villa in Area G. Maintaining the tradition of a stunning resort view, our new accommodation upgraded our experience with a jacuzzi, enhancing the scenic pleasure. Additionally, waking up to the breathtaking sunrise directly from our bedroom each day was truly spectacular. The culinary journey at Banyan Tree Samui was equally impressive. We started each day with a delightful breakfast at The Edge. A special shoutout to Chef John who thoughtfully arranged delicious vegetable rolls for us daily. The breakfast spread was vast and enticing, including pancakes, omelettes, Chinese dim sum, fresh green juice, Thai teas, and American coffees. Our gastronomic adventures continued at the resort’s private beach where we enjoyed freshly made pizza and drinks from The Sands. A highlight of our dining experiences was the Monday evening meal at The Sands, where the Wagyu beef rib-eye steak was exceptionally savory. Another memorable dinner was at The Saffrons, where we were treated to a cultural performance, adding a unique flavor to our dining experience. To enhance our relaxation, we visited the Banyan Tree Spa, where therapists Massy and May provided outstanding massages that helped alleviate our shoulder pains. Their expert techniques left us rejuvenated and ready to return to our daily routines with renewed energy. The excellent service extended throughout our stay, with special thanks to Pao from the housekeeping team. Not only did she maintain our villa in pristine condition, but she also surprised us with a birthday cake, adding a personal touch to our celebration. Amazing experience. We had a garden view villa which was very large, spacious and private. Ours was on a hill with lots of steps so if you aren’t comfortable with that you should request one that has flat entry. Service was exceptional and special thanks to Dada for responding so quickly to our requests through What’s app. Beach is STUNNING and very swimmable. Beach chairs were very soft. My only complaint here is that you cannot leave a tab open for drinks /food which I found odd. You have to pay per order. They do provide complimentary water and cold face towels. But they did not offer drink service at the beach, we needed to ask at restaurant. I don’t know if they just don’t offer this, but nobody asked us and we were at the beach Daily. Food was meh. Breakfast buffet was great, service again exceeded expectations and staff very attentive. We did not get to eat at the nicer restaurant on site but the pool and in room dining was mediocre. SPA WAS amaaaazing. Probably the best I’ve had in awhile. We enjoyed our stay so much and we’re sad to leave!! Thank you Banyan Tree staff for a remarkable experience.

We were looking for a quiet getaway spot and this was perfection from Moment #1, even before we arrived: help arranging transport from airport, to our Villa Host, Dada, greeting us, to the amazing villa, to the spa, all the attendants and Banyan Tree members. We visited other properties and there was a noticeable difference. Attention to every detail, to your every need. I would return in a heartbeat. ♥️
