Reviews for Infinity Residences & Resort Koh Samui
Most relaxing holiday in an amazing location. Stephan and the staff went above and beyond to give us such a luxurious experience. So welcoming and friendly a very special team of staff. The cooking class with chef was my personal highlight of our trip. The infinity pools were so relaxing and everything was so clean. We will be back and I can highly recommend infinity. We will be back!!!! Kim Scott

We had one of the best holidays here at Infinity, the resort itself is built into the mountain so it is 2km up a steep hill, so wonderful for a lovely relaxing holiday. The resort runs a free 24/7 car service up and down the hill to the main road and a golf cart transports visitors around the resort if you don't want to walk. All the staff are wonderful from the girls that clean the rooms to the reception staff, they are so polite and helpful and nothing is to much trouble. This resort is ideal if you just want to enjoy some peace and quiet but it also has the option of transporting you to the main road of Koh Samui where you can catch a taxi or tuk tuk. We would definitely return to Infinity Resort again.

My friend and I stayed 7 nights recently on a Luxury Escape package. We met others at the resort who were also doing the same and had similar opinions to us. Infinity has amazing views, lovely friendly staff, beautiful gardens and is very quiet and tranquil but it is lacking in certain areas that prevent it from being a five star resort. Some of these things were: the cleanliness of our room was not good enough especially the floors and areas of the bathrooms; clunky overhead ceiling fan in bedroom; paint peeling badly off bedroom door; no bedside light in one bedroom or any bedside table of any kind - we had to use a bar stool; some towels in bathroom and around main pool getting very faded and tatty; fully equipped kitchen but no plates to eat off and no instruction manual for stovetop or oven - we had to look up YouTube and still couldn't work out the oven; no hot water in the bathroom or kitchen sinks; breakfast buffet only about 2 star - looks and contains nothing like the one on Infinitys website; inconsistent dinners - one evening it was lovely the next we couldn't eat it and same with the cocktails. We had a brilliant cooking class with the executive chef Amnuay who has lots of wonderful ideas to improve Inifinty and bring it back up to 5 star and beyond. He is also starting a veggie/ herb garden. The staff at reception were lovely and we enjoyed our stay but the resort is only 5 and a half years old and needs at little updating and standards to be consistent and maintained to keep it at 5 star.

This was our second visit to Infinity and we were not disappointed. We had actually booked another villa down the road and were very unhappy. When we arrived at the resort Stephan quickly organised the two bedroom penthouse for us, for 14 days at a great rate. As soon as we saw the room with it's own wet edge pool, we knew we had made the right decision. The living room and kitchen was huge and all rooms, plus the pool and deck had the most amazing views over the Golf of Thailand that you never get tired of. It would be hard to get a better view any where in the world and if you could, it would cost a small fortune. All the staff here are fantastic and always try their hardest to meet all your request. The house keeping girls did a great job every day and were really thorough. We had a few minor problems in the room, but our requests were always met with a smile, an apology and always rectified by the time we returned to our room. The resort has electric buggies to take you around the resort, to the restaurant or to reception or your car. By the time we hung up the phone, organised ourselves and walked out the door, the buggy was always waiting for us. The wifi internet is amazing, but they do need more English speaking tv channels as this is the bulk of their guests. Who wants to watch US basketball with Thai commentary that you can't understand. In house movies would also be a great addition. Sure, not every thing about the room or resort is perfect, but then what place is. We had lunch at four other five star properties some of which were two or three times the price of Infinity to stay, and we wouldn't have swapped our accommodation for any of them. The biggest problem in the rooms is the poor lighting, but hopefully Stephan, will solve this by updating the led fittings. The location is what makes this place so great and the best way to get around is to hire a small car, which is really cheap and you don't have to rely on taxis. Driving and parking anywhere in Koh Samui is easy. We have already booked again for next year. General manager Stephan is doing a great job to improve the resort and his staff are always smiling and helpful. Sorry I can't remember all the girls names, but thanks to the always smiling Noom.

We stayed here for the 8 day package purchased off luxury escapes. When we arrived we were greeted with a list of what it costs to go anywhere from the resort - it's not close to anything. They didn't even offer a shuttle service once or twice a day to the main towns. We had taken the kids (2 boys) who were very disappointed when there was NO kids club (as this was something that was heavily promoted on their site).. we were told by staff and then general manager that we can use their babysitting service (depending on what staff were free) charged at $600 baht per child per hour ($50 Australian an hour for the 2 kids). We hired a nanny service instead who was fantastic and the kids enjoyed it. Food for breakfast was nice but the rest was rubbish .. lunch time meals weren't even cooked properly (we were then told that they have no cook on during the day) The apartment was nice as were some of the staff. Not really family friendly nor in a good spot if you want to go out for nice dinners etc.
