The InterContinental Samui Baan Taling Ngam Resort sits perched on the western coast of Thailand’s third largest island, boasting views of the Gulf of Thailand and the five islands beyond. The resort’s spacious rooms and villas are designed with traditional Thai features like vaulted ceilings, ornate fretwork, and intricate, open-air sala pavilions inspired by Buddhist temples. Baah Thai Spa sits nestled on a cliff overlooking Taling Ngam Bay, surrounded by a lush forest of banyan & palm trees. The spa specializes in relaxation treatments, utilizing local tropical elements, like Thai oil, kaffir lime leaf, and Samui Island Coconut husks. At Amber Restaurant, which overlooks the Gulf of Thailand, Master Chef Tao infuses Thai classics with his own style, dishing up rich Kurobuta Pork Chops. On the beach, guests can dine by lantern and torchlight at Flames Restaurant, specializing in curries and grilled seafood. The area’s seclusion, relaxed atmosphere, and reputation for brilliant sunsets earned The InterContinental Samui the title of “Leading Honeymoon Resort” in Asia.

I came to Interconti Koh Samui after several weeks in few other Intercontinental sites. And it was my n-th stay at Intercontinental Koh Samui, togehter with my wife. What striked my directly was the absolute guest focus of all staffers: beginning with the honour to meet three times within 10 days the GM Jane Sorgel, meeting the operational and duty managers, ending with any coincidentially met staff around the property. Respectful smile and appropriate approach. Feeling truly welcome here. We were happy to meet our old friends among the staff - letting us feeling homely. A special word of recognition to the creative incentive of the hotel management under the new leadership of Ms. Jane Soergel: Jazz evening around the pool. This incentive let several local residents to join the event - making hotel more than a guest house - my congratulations! So we plan to come back to Intercontinental Koh Samui soon. Nice thoughts.

This hotel is superb, the Air Bar is second to none where you can see the sunset, and then the moon rise behind you. If they hold events, check them out. Here's our review of their most recent accomplishment. Our experience at the Summer Jazz event at the Intercontinental Samui on March 26, was nothing short of spectacular. The event was hosted at the Air Bar, offering breathtaking sunset views. Tables were elegantly arranged around the infinity pool, which served as a mesmerizing stage for renowned Jazz musicians. The All You Can Eat buffet featured a delectable spread of Lamb, Beef, Chicken, Rock Lobster, Giant Prawns, and delightful desserts, complemented by three complimentary cocktails. Beyond the exquisite dining and music, the event's support for the Music in Schools Program added a heartwarming touch. It was a truly memorable evening that we won't soon forget.

Our first time in Koh Samui, Intercontinental Samui was my first choice of accommodation. Reception K. Dow and K. Ninew both were warmly welcomed us and provided useful information with service mind. The suite was amazing with stunning views of the ocean and sunset.

Very attentive service and relaxing for both mind and body. All the staff were well trained and friendly. It was a little disappointing that the snacks we were served were all similar (and different from the ones we had on another day), probably because we went for afternoon tea at 3:30pm, which was too late
