Villa was lovely and staff were exceptional. Service was great and was always willing to assist with travel, tour recommendations and food recommendations. Would recommend this place to stay to anyone and hoping to come back soon! Thank you Kanda!

The maintenance is pathetic the swimming pool and the kitchen appliances are dirty the curtains torn generally an unkept property Really don’t know how they get their ratings There is absolutely no manager at night so in case of emergency god help you

We will come back for sure, all villas have private infinity pool and we were in first line with direct access to the beach. Service is wonderful, always available by WhatsApp and very customer oriented. Special mention to Ms. Pornthip, the best manager!

Health hazard! We are currently staying in Kanda Villa 17. The villa is dangerously miskept and just as we grow to accept a problem, we uncover a new. Kanda is not a hotel and certainly not a 5-star one as advertised across many different sites. The check in process was acceptable but below the facilities and experience expected at 5-star location. 1: As we were shown to our villa, half of the house was missing electricity. The fuse group that also powered the Wi-Fi, television - and most importantly phone - was out of order. We had to combine different extension cords to power the phone just to alert them of this. An electrician came in the evening and fixed the fuse. The fix applied however broke the air conditioning in two rooms that as of this review is still not fixed. And in addition - despite electricity to the router, the wifi does not work at all. 2: After a sweaty night with no AC, we had breakfast and put our plates in the dishwasher. After 5 minutes of running, the floor was soaked from a faulty dishwasher. This remains unfixed despite multiple inquiries about it. 3: When we checked in the linen of 2 out of 3 beds were outright dirty. We did not bother them with this as the severity level of other problems made us come to peace with the dirty sheets and sleep in just parts of the bed. 4: No cleaning of bedrooms. Again - despite promises and a 5-star rating, the rooms are not cleaned on a daily basis. Good things: we rented scooters that were nice. The staff is very helpful when you contact them but probably does not have the necessary resources to fix the issues. Conclusion: to all travelers, do not book a villa at Kanda in Koh Samui. The villas appear out of date and features less amenities than an average highway motel. If we could get our 800 dollar nightly rate refunded, we would leave in a heartbeat.

We have a long relationship with Kanda and have visited many times of the years. Of course the Covid period had been tough as for everyone but Kanda keeps going. The pool villas are still the largest and most private and the staff is still the most friendly. We will be back.
