Melati Beach Resort & Spa

My partner and I got married here a few weeks ago. It was an absolutely fantastic experience. I would definitely recommend considering the Melati hotel for your wedding. Air was the woman who planned our wedding for us. She was amazing. She greeted us at the airport and immediately got down to business to make sure that everything was ready in time, she made our day so beautiful and special. She listened to our requests and actioned them and she ensured that all of our needs were met. It really was a five star experience. She was our personal assistant for the whole time we were there. Alfredo was the celebrant. He was hilarious, he brought so much energy and laughter to the wedding. By doing so he made it feel very calm and relaxed at the same time. The makeup artist and hair Team were absolutely fantastic. So professional and did my bridal parties hair and make-up to a fantastic standard. I would definitely recommend having the trial before so that you can tell them what you want changing on the day. They were so brilliant with this and made me look exactly how I wanted to. We chose to have a garden wedding which was set up way better than I even imagined. We had the colourful flowers which were stunning. It was followed by canapés and cocktail reception. Despite the weather being terrible on our wedding day meaning that we couldn’t have a meal on the beach. The room that was set up instead was beautiful. We had a gentleman who sang for a few hours he was brilliant. All of the staff joined in singing and dancing. Everybody had a good time. The food on the wedding date was outstanding. A wedding cake was huge. The chef who did our wedding meal ensured that everybody’s dietary requirements were met and nobody felt left out or that they had to have something different. The service was phenomenal. We also had a fire show on the beach when it stopped raining. This was crazy and the absolute highlight of the day. The photographer was brilliant and took 2000 photos we have so many to put in our photo album. We are so grateful to the melati hotel for being a beautiful setting for our special day, we are thankful for the staff for making it amazing.

Setting, accommodation and staff are wonderful. All of the staff are so into their jobs. They are always smiling, cheerful and ready to serve. Special mention to Dome at the beachside bar for making great coffees and Fon for being fresh-faced, smiling and always fun. She makes every guest feel as though they have her special attention. The Thai buffet on Monday night was a standout. Don’t miss the authentic Thai green curry! I’d stay here again without hesitation.

The location is perfect, the service is excellent, the food is very good. But one person made our stay excellent and his name is Min. This guy is always smiling, understands our requests even before ourselves. Thus guy is a gem that this hotel can't loose.

We've just returned from our stay at Melati and can happily say we had a fabulous time staying at the resort. The resort itself is in a beautiful setting with direct access to the beach. The rooms are spacious, clean and have a pleasing aesthetic. The food is of a high standard and was very tasty. A big thank you to all the fabulous and friendly staff working there especially to those in a pool/beach bar/restaurants - Fon, Pad Thai, Mumee, James, Min and Arm. Thank you!!

Wonderful family vacation. We ended our vacation here for 5 days, after touring through Thailand. Thai are just so friendly all throughout our trip, and at Melati was no exception. Our kids loved Emily at the kids club. They enjoyed the pizza making and T-shirt painting. Food was delicious, rooms spacious and clean. Overall, an amazing stay.
