Stayed for 9 nights in a deluxe pool villa as the second part of our honeymoon. Setting, service and staff exceeded our expectations. The villa was fantastic and we enjoyed the fact the hotel was outside of main areas. Easy to get taxi’s to and from the main areas such as Fisherman’s Village or Chaweng. We made use of the man just outside the hotel who has bikes to rent and offers taxi service. He just calls someone to come and pick you up and take you where you want to go . Lovely local village 10 minute walk where there are a couple of places to eat, 7/11 and a few spa shops. I had a wonderful aloe Vera massage from a local woman just before we returned home. We ate in the hotel a couple of nights and had lunch there a couple of days, yes it is more expensive but that is to be expected in such a nice hotel. 2 for 1 cocktails between 3-5 pm were delicious. It is very quiet but that is what we were looking for. Room decoration and a bottle of fizz sent over for our honeymoon was a lovely touch and appreciated. Reception staff and Cee (the woman who sits at reception and can book tours for you) were all fantastic. We booked tours to ‘pig island’ and ‘elephant conservation project’ which were both great. No hesitation in recommending and hope to return sometime. Thank you SAii.

The most amazing place I have ever stayed. Staff attention to detail is second to none. They couldn’t be more attentive, friendly and welcoming. Every member of staff greets you with a warm welcoming “sawadee ka”. The room was impeccable. Clean and the most comfy bed and pillows making every night sleep the best sleep we’ve ever had. Service at breakfast was great. Particularly from “boss” who always remembered our drink orders and would usually have them ready on the table if we’d not seen him before going to get our food. Meen who worked at the front desk was amazing and super helpful. We’d always be greated by all members of staff whenever we came and went but Meen was outstanding. Ink, the hotel manager, went above and beyond to ensure our stay was special and memorable- which is certainly was. The amazing views of the ocean from the pool, the greenery around the hotel giving a jungle vibe and hearing all the wildlife were the highlights of our stay at this hotel. I felt like every day I was at a spa. Loved that it wasn’t in the centre where there’s a lot going on but also not too far from the centre and other spots like fisherman’s village. The hotel also had complimentary paddle boarding and kayaking which me and my family enjoyed having a go at! Food was great- plenty of choice for breakfast. Ordered room service a few times and everything was really tasty- especially the steak sandwich! We also enjoyed a 3 course meal on the beach one evening with a fire show which is on every night. We tried the spa which was incredible. We both had a full body massage for an hour and the whole experience was relaxing. This was my first time visiting this hotel after my mum and brother recommended and I will definitely be returning on an annual basis.

OK, a few bits could be doing with a wee upgrade (broken sun bed etc), but we absolutely loved our stay. Villa was lovely and cleaned every day. Bed dead comfy and amazing pillows. Pool area was fab. Staff were incredible as most Thai people are. Polite, friendly and can't do enough to help you. The only thing I would say to SAii is perhaps put more lights as we struggled seeing where we were going in the dark BUT, they DO provide a torch (in the closet!) which was a nice touch. The 7 11 is about 10 min walk, be warned, it's very dark at night so take the torch!! Food was good and happy hour was happy!! If you want a beach to swim at then this might not be the place for you. It's very rocky. Saying all this, we loved our time at SAii Koh Samui. We she a tear in the taxi when leaving as we loved our stay.

This hotel is not 5 star. The images are not representative of this very tired, shabby hotel. There are no beds or umbrellas on the beach they are all crammed next to the pool along with plastic bean bags. The beach is NOT private and the sea is inaccessable due to rocks. The breakfast is poor and had a red ant issue whilst we were there. Our room was very shabby and patched up, the shower smelt for which a candle was already hidden behind the mirror and was lit when we complained about the smell, so obviously an ongoing issue. My husband was injured due to a board snapping on the decking next to our pool, we were given one nights compensation. The hotel attracts an interesting clientele, smoking in the pool a big favourite! The hotel needs to close for maintainance urgently. and stop showing clearly very old images of perhaps how it looked many years ago. Avoid

Where do i begin? We booked this hotel as one of 4 places around Thailand to celebrate our 25th wedding anniversary. This place is an absolute gem! Our pool villa was stunning, so clean and the comfiest of beds and pillows. We ate breakfast which was perfect. We also ate a couple of meals here which were lovely, as we sat by the beach. The hotel offers a laundry service, but it is linked with a local service (supporting the local economy). You just fill your basket up (in your room) and take it to reception. This was a very welcoming service, after 2 weeks of sweaty clothes being packed in our suitcases due to travelling in various places before we arrived! The staff are the best. So welcoming and respectful. Our room was beautifully cleaned every day. The reception staff so helpful. The breakfast team amazing, and the bar and restaurant team equally amazing. Big shout out to the maintenance man (didn't catch his name), as when we arrived late at night, I had lost my keys to my suitcase (left behind 300 miles away)! He cut the padlock and saved the day! The hotel grounds are spotless! Honestly, we didn't want to leave to continue our travels and we are sad to be leaving. Thank you again to everyone who works there. You made this part of our travelling very memorable (and we've got clean clothes!).
