Staff to mention : Mo, Ice, Peter, Leo, Oh This is an example of where aesthetic meets attention to detail. The staff made note to call myself and my partner by name from arrival, all the way through to departure. As we came here for my partners birthday gift, we were anticipating a great hotel, but our expectations were exceeded greatly. Not only was he was greeted with a birthday greeting when he walked into the on site restaurant, a complimentary desert with a happy birthday written in icing, they then also provided additional dessert to the room and a birthday banner for no additional charge. We had a private dinner at the nomu (on site Japanese restaurant ) and as we had booked a little early we had complaints that there were still people on the beach, fishing near us and sitting near us, which we expressed to the staff. Due to it being a lot of money for us, we felt that we just wanted to be aware that it may not be 100% private, so we could’ve made an informed decision. As we explained this to the restaurant manager Oh and Ice, they both promptly moved to console us and provide us with complimentary refreshments, starters and a discount. The set up was absolutely beautiful and we weren’t after any freebies, but were extremely grateful that they took an additional measure to compensate for how we felt about the privacy of the meal. As time went on, people left the beach and it ended up being a lovely quiet beach side dinner anywho, with a speaker provided by the hotel so we could listen to music. Not only did they do this, but they gave my partner a BEAUTIFUL bouquet of roses to give to me at the dinner and offered to book a photographer/photoshoot for free. The staff were so attentive, so kind, but also - so genuine. The breakfast was beautiful. From juicing stations to meats to vegetarian options, they had a huge range, with a gorgeous wooden decor. The staff were always extremely friendly and again- greeted with intention and familiarity, so you felt personally catered to. The rooms , were , insane. Firstly - the size ? HUGE. The pool, beautiful and a perfect depth / length. The bed was extremely comfortable and the sheets / towels were all very soft which for someone with sensitive skin is a massive plus. We had a range of amenities and an outdoor shower which we enjoyed to the fullest. I experienced massive period cramps during my stay, to which they then provided a heated pack for me to use which allowed me to enjoy a good nights rest. The bathroom has 2 showers and a bathtub, with a toilet and tv, as well as a huge mirror and doors giving access to the pool. It was from start to finish impeccable Our shuttle staff - Leo and Peter - there were a few others we don’t have the names of but all are commendable, were so friendly and prompt. We really felt we built connections with the staff and we had only stayed there for 5 days. As British people we can be quite anti social by nature, even though we love to speak, so for the staff to encourage conversation allowed us to ease into the place very quickly, which made the whole experience better. We hired a jeep from the company mo and ice recommended to us who were both extremely lovely and will be missed dearly. And the jeep was amazing. A great form of transport for us to enjoy music and the island. The area was a great location, nearby a quiet beach but also near enough to markets and other sports by transport. 1000/10 , would HIGHLY recommend. We will 100% come back if we ever return to KOH SAMUI. And next time we would stay for longer. Thank you to all the staff for making our trip so lovely , and so warm.

Bunny was very welcoming and all staff were lovely. Stunning views from reception and kitchen table restaurant. Especially loved the complimentary champagne at breakfast. Would recommend. X

Outstanding Resort – Perfection on Koh Samui! The W Hotel Koh Samui exceeded my expectations in every possible way. From the moment you arrive, you can feel how exceptionally well this resort is managed – everything is thoughtful, beautifully maintained, and run with impressive professionalism. The staff are outstanding: warm, attentive, and always present without ever being intrusive. You genuinely feel welcomed and cared for. A true highlight is the Japanese restaurant NAMU. The quality is exceptional – fresh, precisely prepared dishes, a modern interpretation of Japanese cuisine, and service that feels perfectly tailored. For me, Namu is one of the best Japanese restaurants on the island. And, they have my favorite champagne Louis Roederer for a very reasonable price. The breakfast also deserves special praise. The variety is remarkable, and the freshness of the ingredients comes through in every dish. Whether you prefer Asian classics, international favorites, Indian food or healthy options, everything is of the highest quality and beautifully presented. Overall, the W Hotel Koh Samui is a place that effortlessly captures your heart. Excellent dining, a wonderful staff, and management that clearly operates at an impressive level. A true standout on the island – and a wholehearted recommendation for anyone seeking perfection.

This property is absolutely gorgeous. The view from the lobby and the bar is spectacular. The room was spacious and very comfortable with lots of attention to details. We were disappointed that we were not told in advance that the main pool was closed for a month due to scheduled maintenance. This is something they should tell us in advance and not at the moment of check in. The beach was amazing. Service is impeccable throughout the hotel and our driver Leo gave us specialized attention and made sure to remember our names. The English level of our waitress at the restaurant was a bit limited. Breakfast and dinner were delicious. They say it’s an all villa property but the rooms are all connected to each other so it doesn’t have the private villa feeling. Overall this was a great stay and we would definitely stay here again.
