W Koh Samui

Outstanding experience!!! Especially true from the staff of Namu!!! Led by exceptional service from Khun Ting, it was further enhanced by Aem, Meili and Mo! Everyone combined resulted in a memorable 5 days at the W Hotel.

We stayed here recently as part of our honeymoon trip. The setting is amazing and you can see no expense was spared when they built this property - we loved the layout of the resort which cascades down the hillside before getting to the beach. Again we loved the layout of our villa - the stunning bathroom, the private pool that always seems to be the right temperature (day and night) and lovely private space. All this being said a lot of the resort is looking tired - our villa really needed some touch ups, their were several bar areas in the resort that are now no longer used and looking worse for ware, the soft furnishings across the resort (e.g. sun lounger covers) desperately need to be replaced, the gym was looking particularly sad and AC wasn't working. I also have to talk about the main pool, which was dirty and had a black sort of sludge across the tiles when we were there - I alerted staff to this several times times but gave up and stuck to the beach and our small pool villa (which was clean). Finally a quick note that the 'beachfront' villas aren't actually beach front, it just means they are in the lower section of the resort, we still had several villas in front of us before getting to the beach.

We have stayed 5 nights at W Koh Samui. Everyone made our stay comfortable. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The hotel is on a hill and it’s a challenge to walk in the humid heat in April. But the W made sure the golf carts are readily available when we need them. We want to give a special shoutout to the very friendly security guard, he’s always friendly to say hi to us. And last but not least, our kids want to ensure we let everyone know one of the staff, Tony is amazing. He’s friendly, helpful, and always asks about how our day is. Our younger one even says Tony is his friend. Thanks for a wonderful vacation, we will return!
