The W Hotel is an excellent hotel. One of the things we loved most was the outstanding service throughout our entire stay — especially in the dining room. In the dining room, there was a wonderful staff member named Bee who provided service above and beyond our expectations. Even though my wife doesn’t eat breakfast early, Bee made sure every morning to help us send food up to the room so she could enjoy it later. That level of care truly made a difference for us. The food is amazing, the property is beautiful, and the view feels like a dream. We highly recommend it from the bottom of our hearts.

Lots of pros to this resort - excellent staff, excellent pool, fun beach, good food offerings, beautiful views. We had a beachfront villa with a very nicely sized private pool. We loved the physical layout of the property - right at beach, quick elevator ride to main pool level then a few flights up to breakfast venue and lobby (or call a buggy for ride anywhere). We've stayed at vertical resorts before where it is all buggy rides and we really prefer this option to climb central stairs and ride elevator rather than always be calling for a buggy. Good breakfast offerings, excellent sushi restaurant, surprisingly good food at Woo Bar (plus stellar night views). Why not five star? The resort is showing its age. We had several room issues that were dealt with efficiently, but they did occur and require maintenance for repairs. The hotel was apologetic, sent us wine to apologize and manager on duty followed up personally so issues were handled professionally. Even with a few glitches, we'd stay again.

From the minute you arrive at the W Retreat Koh Samui you are met with the Wow factor. The view from the lobby is absolutely breathtaking!! The pool villas were modern, beautifully decorated & very private and had direct access to the beach. Staff were very friendly & attentive. Had the most incredible meal at Namu. Thank you to the amazing chefs who just created something special for me based on what I felt like - no menu required.

This is definitely a resort with wow factors in many ways. Besides the breathtaking view of Gulf of Thailand and the Maenam Beach, the staffs left me a nice impression as well, General Manager Nick himself gave us a personal tour introduction at the beginning which led to a wonderful stay for us at W Retreat Koh Samui. Worth coming again and again!
