Our time at W Ko Samui
We stayed here for four days in a beautiful beachfront villa and honestly had such a lovely time. Bunny and her whole team made us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. Everyone was so kind and friendly, and they were always there to help whenever we needed something. We really enjoyed the food and, of course, the beautiful beach right in front of the villa. It was the perfect place to slow down, relax and just enjoy our time in Koh Samui. We had a wonderful stay and would definitely come back! Thank you Bunny and the whole team for making us feel so welcome. ❤️

My stay at W Koh Samui was absolutely wonderful. The property is beautiful, and the service was genuinely excellent from start to finish. I loved everything about my time here, and the staff truly does a phenomenal job to make the experience special. However, one specific thing at the end of the trip completely ruined my overall impression. During checkout, I was practically tearfully begged to leave a review. It honestly felt like being approached by someone begging for spare change on the street. I have never encountered anything like this at a five-star hotel—in fact, I have never seen this kind of behavior even at properties of a much lower tier. To be clear, I do not blame the frontline employees for this at all. It is obvious that this is a strict requirement from upper management, who are clearly chasing superficial, show-off ratings. The staff already executes their duties flawlessly; I simply cannot understand why management forces their hardworking team to humiliate themselves in front of departing guests just to satisfy someone's corporate ambitions. Five-star service speaks for itself—there is no need to beg for it.

Perfect hotel! Patrick gave us the warmest welcome—truly the kindest person we met in Thailand. Perfect, spotless room, fresh linens, seaside location, thoughtful touches, and wonderful staff. Everything was perfect. We’ll happily return!

From the minute you arrive at the W Retreat Koh Samui you are met with the Wow factor. The view from the lobby is absolutely breathtaking!! The pool villas were modern, beautifully decorated & very private and had direct access to the beach. Staff were very friendly & attentive. Had the most incredible meal at Namu. Thank you to the amazing chefs who just created something special for me based on what I felt like - no menu required.

This is definitely a resort with wow factors in many ways. Besides the breathtaking view of Gulf of Thailand and the Maenam Beach, the staffs left me a nice impression as well, General Manager Nick himself gave us a personal tour introduction at the beginning which led to a wonderful stay for us at W Retreat Koh Samui. Worth coming again and again!
