We stayed at W Koh Samui in a Premier Beachfront Pool Villa with our children, and overall we had a wonderful and memorable stay. For us as a family with young children, the combination of our own private pool and direct access to the beach was absolutely perfect. The beach area in front of our villa was very peaceful and quiet, with very few people around. Our children could easily go from swimming in our private pool to playing on the beach and swimming in the sea. It gave us a great sense of privacy and allowed us to enjoy our days at our own pace without crowded pool or beach areas. For families looking for peace, privacy and quality time together, W Koh Samui is a great choice. We had informed the resort in advance that this trip was also our babymoon, and we really appreciated how well the team accommodated our needs. They took our situation as a family into consideration when choosing the location of our villa and were very attentive to our other requests. During our first two nights, we also had a room stylist, which added a lovely and personal touch to the experience. What impressed us the most was the attention to detail and the level of service. After breakfast, our villa was cleaned very quickly, so by the time we returned everything was ready and the children could change and go straight out for a swim. It may sound like a small detail, but when travelling with young children, these little things make a big difference. The team was also very thoughtful about mosquitoes. Incense was prepared and lit outside our villa, and additional mosquito repellent was provided for us. These small touches throughout our stay made us feel that the team genuinely paid attention to our comfort and needs. Everyone at Team W was friendly, welcoming and extremely service-minded. We genuinely felt well looked after throughout our stay. A special thank you to Patrick and the entire Team W for taking such good care of our family and making us feel so welcome. Another feature we really enjoyed was the Sweet Spot located close to our villa, where we could pick up ice cream and drinks. Needless to say, this was a big hit with the children! The resort also has a spa and a gym that is open 24 hours. Breakfast may not have had the largest buffet selection compared with some larger luxury resorts, but it had everything we needed. What we particularly appreciated was the à la carte selection, with food and drinks ordered and served directly at the table. When travelling with young children, this makes breakfast much more relaxing as you don't constantly have to get up and walk back and forth to the buffet. There are, however, a few areas where we feel the resort could improve. The villa itself is starting to show its age in certain areas. We understand that the resort is due for a major renovation, which we think will make a significant difference. The air conditioning generally worked well, particularly when set to a lower temperature. However, during the evening and at night, we sometimes found that the room could become a little warm and humid when using a more comfortable temperature setting. We therefore had to set the AC colder than we normally would. On one or two occasions, we woke up during the night because the air felt quite humid. The lighting system in the villa could also be improved. We found the controls somewhat complicated and not always intuitive, particularly when trying to adjust or dim individual lights in the evening. As a family with young children, a Kids Club would also have been a nice addition. That said, it wasn't a major issue for us because our children were more than happy spending their days between the private pool, beach and sea. One other small detail was the bathroom amenities. The soap, shampoo and other toiletries did not quite have the premium feel we would expect from a resort at this level. The presentation could also have been better, including product labelling that appeared to have been covered with an additional sticker. It is a relatively minor point, but at a luxury resort, these small details contribute to the overall impression. Despite these areas for improvement, they did not take away from what was an excellent overall experience. What we will remember most is the peaceful setting, the privacy of our beachfront villa and, above all, the warm, personal and detail-oriented service. We felt genuinely welcomed and cared for throughout our stay, which is ultimately what made W Koh Samui special for us. We would happily return, especially after the upcoming renovation. It was an amazing experience; I sat facing the sea and painted what was in front of me. The staff was lovely, caring, and down-to-earth. They let me play whatever music I wanted. And the view is breathtaking. Highly recommended!!

The restaurant was excellent, and the food was absolutely delicious. We enjoyed every single dish! The staff were amazing, incredibly friendly, and welcoming ( Natty, Budd and Noi) Highly recommended!
