Everything about this hotel is great. So effortless to check in, so easy to get something to eat or drink, beautiful calm atmosphere, beautiful beach, great adult pool and separate pool for children also really nice. Something for everyone really. I would definitely recommend and we would definitely go back. The staff makes everything so easy that you feel you are truly on vacation.

Getting ready for a relaxing, rejuvenating time at the Mauna Lani. It started with working with Brandy, an amazing pre-arrival concierge, who figured out how to make what we wanted to happen. If she represents the level of service that the Mauna Lani provides, it should be wonderful!

We had an absolutely fantastic time at Mauna Lani, so much that we extended our stay while we were there! The team across the whole resort were all so friendly and welcoming. The outdoor space is the star of this resort, including the landscaping, both of the pools, and the beach. The beach service was excellent, and we appreciated how it was always easy to get chairs at either the beach or pool. The hotel gets the little details correct. Love the free ice water at the pool and beach, including the pitchers of water at the beach. Also loved the water filling stations throughout the property. The guest laundry room was also nice. While expensive, the food at the resort was all quite good in our experience. Highly recommend going to the luau. It was a highlight of our stay. Would suggest a dessert shack of some sort is added. Having the option to get ice cream or shave ice during the day would have been nice. Room renovations are well done. The only problem we really experienced is mustiness in the bathroom, which is partially just due to the Hawaii climate. Otherwise the rooms are clean, comfortable, cool (AC works well!), and quiet! Blackout shades also work well. Thank you to the team for a great stay!

I absolutely loved my stay at Mauna Lani! The entire experience was peaceful, luxurious, and exactly what I needed. The adult-only pool was a serene escape—quiet, relaxing, and never overcrowded. The beach is breathtaking, with soft sand and clear, calm water perfect for swimming or just unwinding. The food was exceptional across the resort—fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. My room was spotless, incredibly comfortable, and felt like a true retreat at the end of each day. One small suggestion: it would be helpful if guests had access to an ice machine. It’s a minor thing, but it would make a difference for both guests and staff. That said, everything else was perfect—and I’ve already booked my next trip!

My husband I just spent a week at the Mauna Lani celebrating our 30th wedding anniversary. We had always heard about it but this was our first visit. We found the experience to be thoroughly enjoyable. The property is peaceful, blissful and tasteful. You can see the details in the decor and layout. The food was delicious, especially Canoe House! (Make a reservation in advance!) The service everywhere on property was excellent and the staff were most friendly. The Aloha spirit was apparent. We especially loved our morning canoe snorkel experience. Ian and his co-worker guide were fantastic. They even found an octopus to show us! And Christine at the surf shack rental was extraordinarily kind and helpful. Regena at the pool along with all the pool and beach staff were efficient and very friendly! We loved our morning breakfasts at Ha'lani. Terrific spread at the buffet and the omelet chef was the best! We would also like to give a special shout out to the housekeeping staff who were like invisible fairies! Our lovely room was always clean by the time we came back from breakfast and the turndown service at night was a treat each evening. We cannot wait to return for another visit.
