A Peaceful Reset at Mauna Lani
Mauna Lani is the perfect place for a full reset. The setting is stunning, the atmosphere calm and refined, and the staff embody a genuine sense of aloha. Our ocean-view room was spotless, quiet, and comfortable in every detail, with soft cotton linens and thoughtful touches throughout. The sunrise waʻa (canoe) ride was the highlight of our stay—watching the sun rise over Mauna Kea is unforgettable. We snorkeled, swam with honu (sea turtles), enjoyed the saltwater pool and hot tubs, joined nature walks, and learned to make leis. The beach was peaceful and perfect for swimming and snorkeling, with plenty of marine life. Staff came by with cold waters, frozen grapes, and frozen aloe for your skin—thoughtful gestures that elevated the whole experience. The meals at Hālani were excellent, especially at breakfast. The fresh fruit and ube pancakes with coconut ube sauce were outstanding. From arrival to departure, every moment felt thoughtful and restorative. We would absolutely return.

What a gorgeous property with amazing service! I was there for work, but certainly felt like a vacation. Service was excellent and staff was warm and welcoming! An outstanding experience all around!

The perfect big island property
The nicest property I have stayed at on the islands. The decor, room, pool, beach, restaurants and service were all a 10 out of 10! Spend the extra $ for an Ocean Front room and the sunrise canoe is a 100% must do!!
