This hotel was amazing! Everything from the room/balcony to the view to the food, landscaping, and beach. Everything is pricey, but once we got past that it was a great experience. We did have some issues getting our top floor room as cold as we would have liked it at night, but the staff did everything in their power to help with this. Canoe House restaurant was one of our best meals of the whole trip. The resort wasn't crowded during our stay, so easy to get chairs at the pool and on the beach. And I can't say enough about Coral Photography on site. Though they are a separate entity from the hotel itself, and also very pricey if you ultimately purchase the photos from them, our photographer Ryan did amazing work. He was very responsive to our inquiry when a local photographer we had booked ended up cancelling within 10 days of our trip. He accommodated our very tight schedule for the photo shoot day and was able to capture our family's pictures just as we had hoped. Highly recommend.

Absolutely loved this resort. The service was perfect. Our suite was perfect, huge, great for our family of 4. Specifically loved the huge balcony which was great for sunrise and sunsets. Everything felt authentically Hawaiian celebrating the culture and history with live music, classes, staff. We did the snorkel experience which was amazing, highly recommend. I wish we had booked the sunrise canoe in advance as it looked great. Canoe house was one of the best meals of our trip, the beach shack food was also excellent. All water stuff was included which was great, my kids were non stop snorkeling, boogie board, paddle boards. They also took advantage of the game room. I loved that they could explore the resort on their own. Truly can’t recommend this resort enough.

We absolutely loved our stay at Mauna Lani! Gorgeous architecture, immaculate landscaping, complimentary beach toys and snorkels, and fantastic customer service. We joined the Francis Brown Club during our stay and it was a highlight for adults and kids!

We have gone to Mauna Lani for the last six years. The hotel is just as welcoming and pretty and easy to navigate. Recently the hotel started doing a kids eat free offer during the summer which means it can be noisy/crowded. They also introduced a premium offer of the Francis Brown suite. Paying this premium means you get front row beach chairs. We did not do this and witnessed people taking chairs and not using until the late afternoon so they went unused all day. While we love Canoehouse we wish the menu at Ha Lani went back to its original offerings. We ate at other hotels and restaurants during the week. While we may come back to the Mauni Lani, will likely look to travel outside of the kids eat free time.
