Our family had a wonderful and relaxing time at this top-notch resort. The staff was incredible and aims to please, especially Andrew Mendoza who is part of the concierge team. Even though there were a couple of business events occurring simultaneously, the hotel handled it extremely well and the events impacted us very minimally. The luau is also not to be missed, especially the host whom we remember from our last family visit many years ago.

Love this venue- ambiance- views- pond- gardens- coloured parrots - elegance - I ordered shrimp for lunch- it was ok but not juicy and moist! Served prettily with a small fruit like a lime only orange however the lazy kitchen staff didn't bother to remove the pips! I expect more from a HyattšŸ¤”šŸ¤”šŸ¤” I'd go back just for the ambiancešŸ˜€

This hotel was our must have resort in hawaii. It's beautiful. The staff are really friendly and the breakfasts are really tasty. The only small issue was that sound travels through the rooms. We stayed in an ocean front room.

This is our first time to Kauai and we are so happy we stayed at the Grand Hyatt. From the moment you walk in, it's a picturesque setting. Everything from the gardens, pools and restaurants is perfection. The restaurants and drinks are pricey, but that's to be expected anywhere you go. The luau night that they host a few times a week is an all you can eat (Hawaiian specialty food) and drink (mai thai's, wine & beer) experience with amazing dancing. You learn a lot about the history of Kauai and luaus. You'll for sure be dancing in your seat. Love the Grand Hyatt!

We did not stash at the Grand Hyatt for our last trip. But, we feel its necessary to share what a great experience we had for the brief moment we shared with them. We were driving to meet our wedding officiant for our elopment ceremony and suddenly realized that in all the hustle that morning, we didn't have enough cash to pay her! My husband-to-be suggested we stop at the hyatt as it was the last place on the disc to our agreed marriage site, and we were running it of options! He jumped out of the car and gulped... told the valet, "I'm on my way to my wedding! Do you have an ATM!?" The valet jumped to the rescue and the two of them ran inside to find the atm. Meanwhile, anpther staff member offered some lovely fresh cucumber water to me, asked me in a very relaxed tone, how I was feeling, and offered us two beautiful fresh orchid leis as a wedding gift! We wore them for the ceremony! Next time we visit the island, we will be staying at the Grand Hyatt...simply because... it is lovely.
