The Ritz-Carlton, Kuala Lumpur

I want to write this review for the fine service and outstanding experience I had with the staff members of the Lobby Lounge today under the guidance of MrSiva. I booked a high tea last week and the process was seamless and stress free. The booking was made and the tea excellent. Everyone was very nice and welcoming, but even more impressive was the service. The staff who were Siva, Razif, Rohaya, Maria and Chen were nothing short of flawless. The evening was a true pleasure and we enjoyed our time thoroughly. Thank you we will certainly be back. You took care of us very well.

From start to finish it has been amazing, we were only in the city for 2 nights as we were transiting from China, we booked the 2 bedroom suite and it was huge, with separate living are, dining, kitchen with plenty of storage and bedrooms were a great size, only thing was breakfast could have had more options food wise, more cereal choices and more berries in the fruit section, location of the hotel is great right near the pavilion mall, you can walk through the hotel and come straight outside the mall, from check in to check out it was been a very pleasant stay

We stayed in The Ritz-Carlton KL from the 17th to the 21st August as part of our honeymoon and had a truly wonderful experience. At reception, Crystal was exceptional during check-in. She explained everything clearly, was warm and professional, and even guided us towards the elevators to our room. We were delighted to receive a complimentary upgrade, which made our honeymoon stay feel even more special. The bell boy, Zaman, along with the rest of the bell team, were always cheerful and welcoming. Every time we left or returned to the hotel, they greeted us with genuine smiles, which created such a positive environment. Housekeeping also deserves a mention for their attention to detail. Our room was always kept spotless, and they thoughtfully ensured we had the right amount of coffee, tea and water each day. We look forward to staying there again when we return to KL.

I would like to respectfully highlight a concern raised by several staff members regarding the absence of a surau (prayer room) within our premises. Currently, Muslim staff have to walk outside, even as far as Starhill, in order to perform their daily prayers. This situation not only causes inconvenience but also raises safety and welfare concerns, particularly during peak hours, bad weather, or at night. As Malaysia is a multi-racial and multi-religious country, the provision of a surau is a standard facility in most workplaces, offices, and commercial buildings. It is an important aspect of staff welfare and inclusivity, ensuring that all employees are able to fulfill their religious obligations comfortably and with dignity. We sincerely hope that management can consider allocating even a small, designated space within the building to serve as a surau. This would be greatly appreciated by the staff and would reflect positively on the company’s commitment towards sensitivity, inclusiveness, and employee well-being. Travelled from UK. Absolutely can’t fault this hotel. Perfect location right in the heart of KL. immaculate rooms. We had a 3 bed suite perfect for family of 5. Fantastic buffet breakfast. Very attentive staff. Plus, I stupidly left a device in my bed on check out and they sent it on to my next hotel 🌟 🌟 🌟 🌟 🌟 🙏
