Memorial Day Weekend getaway
Location was nice, service was hospitable, and atmosphere was pleasant. Wife and I were doing a long weekend trip and decided to stay here to enjoy a staycation. Really enjoyed the vibes here and as people who enjoy great cocktails they had a very good cocktail selection. Drinks were well balanced and the bartenders knew what they were doing. We were helped by Phil, one of the bartenders there and he was super hospitable and helpful considering we were lugging around an infant. Pleasant to talk to, friendly and courteous with a solid cocktail menu, we were very happy with our experience.

Perfect spa experience with a day pass.
Absolutely lovely spa! We were staying at another nearby hotel and had a marvelous spa day pass experience here. Men’s, women’s and shared treatment areas were perfect. Access to the hotel swimming pool was included, and there is even a large saltwater whirlpool there. Next time in La Jolla we’ll stay at The Estancia to enjoy the beautiful lush gardens.

Intimate, relaxing resort experience
Rooms tastefully decorated. Grounds lovely and enjoyable for strolls. Staff well trained for resort level services. Non alcohol drinks nice addition. Live music very good. Overall feel of resort and layout enjoyable and relaxing. No direct access to beach but short distance away. Walk to great bar and food while watching paragliding and looking over cliffs to ocean. Photos on website are accurate.

Great experience!
Phil the bartender was great! I had some work I needed to get done and I chose to go by the bar where I met Phil and he was fantastic and made the whole experience great & comfortable!

Phil was an amazing bartender. He was attentive and charismatic kept the energy flowing throughout the time we were there. Tequila espresso martini! Highly recommend!
