What an Incredible hidden unexpected gem Hotel and Spa! A family gathering, a little bit of business trip and our stay was fabulous and the staff go above and beyond to make you as happy and comfortable as possible! From Jack at the concierge desk, to Nicole at reception they are in total pros at delivering what well shoed travelers expect. The pool was dreamy! Can’t wait to come back and bring the hubby!

The property itself makes a great first impression - welcoming front desk service, a comfortable room, and pleasant shared spaces, specifically the pool. Unfortunately, the overall experience was undermined by consistently poor service across their dining outlets, where long waits, raw food being served, and severe lack of attentiveness became a recurring theme. Efforts to resolve concerns at checkout initially seemed promising, but the follow‑through did not match what was communicated, leaving a disappointing final impression. Estancia has strong potential, but the service execution and post‑stay reversal of promises fell far short of what I expected when booking. If you're looking for a stress-free resort, I would recommend looking elsewhere.

We had the best experience attending our nieces wedding at the Estancia and would love to visit again someday in the future! Everything was amazing from the start. The grounds are beautiful and the room was beautifully appointed as well as clean and comfortable! The entire staff was exceptionally friendly and welcoming and on point! You can walk to the Torrey Pines Park and walk the trail to the beach or watch the paragliders at the Torrey Pines Gliderport.

We keep returning to Estancia because of delightful staff who take such good care of us like Karina & Carlos. Breakfast at Goldfinch is always delicious with a good variety of menu offerings.

We had brunch at the Greenfinch Restaurant to celebrate the engagement of our daughter and her fiancé. It was absolutely fabulous! Not only was the food exceptional, but our server, Karina, was an absolute joy and made our experience unforgettable. I don’t typically leave reviews but Karina was so energetic, cordial and fun that I had to give her her just due. Highly recommend!
