Sleepless in La Jolla
I am assured that I cannot change the fan setting in my room from high “auto” to anything else and that is true throughout the hotel. How does anyone sleep with the AC cutting in and out all night? I switched the whole system off but then it just gets too warm.

This is my favorite hotel in La Jolla! The atmosphere is tranquil, the staff is friendly, and the accommodations are thoughtful!

Nice hotel...needs some building maintenance.
Wonderful hotel that needs some maintenance attention. Hotel needs exterior and interior paint and maintenance. Attentive staff, beautiful grounds, but should be in better shape fora $500 plus a night hotel.

The BEST place to stay for UCSD Graduation
Hands down - Estancia is the BEST place to go when you and your family need a wonderful hotel to stay at to celebrate important life milestone like your kid's graduation from UCSD! Not only is it just across the street from the campus (no struggling for parking on Graduation day)... the hotel is a beautiful and world-class place to be. Restaurants are superb, and the staff are warm, attentive and provided mush-appreciated personal celebratory touches for our stay at the Estancia.
