BEST MARTINI ever!
You MUST have a cocktail at the lobby car. Ask for Phil, he is the man! Gin and elderflower syrup with a float of white wine on top. We had so many i forgot the name but tell him crisp martini. It's spectacular. Enjoy!!

Lovely venue great location across from UCSD, nice staff. Make sure your room is not near the hallway entrance - door slammed shut all night - very loud in our room. This place could use a general manager to fix a bunch of minor problems that add up.

Wonderful experience
What a wonderful experience to stay at this charming hotel. The grounds are just beautiful and well taken care of. The rooms arch chic, clean and roomy. We stayed one night for a wedding and can't wait to come back and really explore the property, spa and restaurants. I can say dinner at the wedding reception was the best wedding food I have ever had! Anxious to return and spend more time exploring the grounds, restaurants and spa.
