We had brunch at the Greenfinch Restaurant to celebrate the engagement of our daughter and her fiancé. It was absolutely fabulous! Not only was the food exceptional, but our server, Karina, was an absolute joy and made our experience unforgettable. I don’t typically leave reviews but Karina was so energetic, cordial and fun that I had to give her her just due. Highly recommend!

The Estancia La Jolla, is a beautiful resort for both leisure and business travel. Great location close to the beach and downtown La Jolla. The property is relaxing and has an excellent variety of food and beverage options. We loved our stay there! Highly recommend a visit.

A charming and fabulous property that is clean and has beautiful facilities and amenities. The service level does not match the surroundings, but the state was still worthwhile And we would return. If the service can be brought up a level, this would be an unbelievable property.

We did three nights and had a balcony room over one of the interior gardens. The restaurants and pool bar were excellent. Very close to everything and the hike to Blacks Beach is a must.

I visited Estancia on a business trip and was blown away by the historic charm and warm environment. The pool and spa are a must, and access to electric bikes makes local sightseeing a breeze. Phil, the lobby/pool bartender, made a killer Oaxacan Old Fashioned. He has a warm, welcoming demeanor that makes you feel at ease the moment you sit down...attentive without being intrusive, and easy to fall into good conversation with when I wanted it. You can tell he genuinely takes pride in his craft. If you're staying at Estancia, be sure to stop by the pool bar and ask for Phi. I will definitely will be returning soon.
