My husband & I stayed here for a one-night staycation and had the most amazing time. Of course the property and grounds are extremely beautiful all around, but what really made the visit were the staff. Everyone was so welcoming, even random people we passed in the hallways. Our check in was so smooth and room was ready early when we came at 11! Our pool servers (Andrea & Phil) were so attentive throughout the day - we lounged at the pool for a long time! In the evening we went to the restaurant and Eric was our server, he gave amazing recommendations and was just fun to chat with at our table. I can't wait to be back soon and next time to try the spa! Thank you for a wonderful stay and much needed getaway from regular life :)

Pedro at the Trading Post Bar was absolutely amazing! He made us a special “basil margarita” that was the one of the best margaritas we have ever had. Such an amazing bartender… go see Pedro!

We stayed at Estancia La Jolla Hotel & Spa at the end of May 2026 for a beautiful wedding, and it completely exceeded our expectations. From the moment we drove through the gates, the hacienda-style charm and sprawling 10 acres of lush gardens felt like stepping into a serene California oasis—perfect for celebrating love. The grounds are absolutely stunning, with manicured lawns, blooming flowers, palm trees, and peaceful courtyards that made for an idyllic wedding setting. The ceremony space was breathtaking, and the reception flowed seamlessly with that warm, ranch-inspired elegance. Everything felt thoughtfully designed and impeccably maintained. Our room was spacious, comfortable, and recently refreshed—clean, quiet, and with all the little luxuries like plush robes and a great bathroom. The staff was genuinely friendly and attentive, going out of their way to make the wedding party feel special (quick coffee runs at the cafe were a lifesaver during the busy weekend!). Dining highlights included delicious meals with fresh, flavorful options, and the overall vibe was relaxed yet upscale—never stuffy. It was the ideal spot for family and friends to gather, with easy access to La Jolla attractions too. If you’re planning a wedding or just a special getaway, Estancia delivers on every level. We can’t recommend it enough and would return in a heartbeat! The Estancia resort was the perfect location for our wedding weekend for our guests. The atmosphere and vibe was welcoming and relaxing. The rooms are spacious and clean. The customer service was superb! I highly recommend a stay at Estancia La Jolla.
