Not Expected
We are affiliated with UCSD, and we recommend your property to many people. Unfortunately, this time things did not go very well. We also had a problem with the TV, and when I called the front desk, the person who answered knew what was wrong and told me that the........same problem has happened to "many others" before and is resolved most of the time (!!!!) if we unplug the power, wait a couple of minutes, and plug it back again. He also told me that if this does not work, he would send someone to "hard start" the TV...!!! It was a little after midnight, and that's the last thing we would like to do. And by the way, the problem was not fixed .... But my question is that if a very expensive property like yours is aware of that problem, why do they not fix it instead of asking the customer to do that?

First Class Location + Service
From prior to our stay to during our stay, the staff at the Estancia made this a 5 star experience. Isabella from Marketing, Evelyn from Reservations, and Jack from concierge were all extremely friendly and helpful. I booked the Estancia for a staycation and proposal, and the staff made my proposal as easy as possible. Jack in particular helped me find the best area and time to do it at during a busy weekend. I appreciated his customer service and going above and beyond to make this moment special. The location and rooms were fantastic as well. We wished our stay would never end! We look forward to coming back every year!

Great pool food and service
Had a great time grabbing lunch at the pool! Nate and Daniel were awesome, and I really enjoyed the poke nachos. Highly recommend!

The entire hotel was amazing but Joey stood out against most because of how efficient and friendly he was at the valet service!

Relaxing that was necessary!
Amazing place ! I chose the massage and I had a great time! Ed is great ! After the massage you can spend your day at the sauna, pool, hot tube and enjoy your day relaxing 😎
