Brilliant Bartending making a memorable meal!
I came for just one night of travel for a family event nearby but was surprised and delighted by the incredibly engaged staff… and the exceptional meal I had (Cochinita Pibil for dinner-out of this world!). But the “above and beyond” inspiration for my writing this review was the effortless and warm work of Odalie the amazing bartender in MUSTANGS AND BURROS. I consider myself a cocktail connoisseur; and after sitting at the bar for dinner, watching her work, I was inspired me to start a conversation. She was so authentically. Knowledgable about the largely Mexican spirits and wines on the shelf and educated me on the cocktails she was making as well as about the masters of craft at tequila and gin companies she knew so much about. Enjoying a good meal is one thing; learning about a world I knew nothing about from someone so casually service minded yet also so deeply engaged and proud of both where she worked but also what she served was a brief moment of what travel is really all about - experience!!

Phil was phenomenal and took fantastic care of us at the pool bar. The food was great and the serving sizes are good portions. Cocktails were delicious.

Phil was awesome! Absolutely fantastic margarita! Fresh, flavorful, and perfectly balanced, it truly brightened our day. Our whole team loved every sip and couldn’t stop talking about how delicious it was. A must-try for anyone who enjoys a great cocktail and friendly vibes!
