Post retirement visit
I used to go to the Estancia when I visited San Diego for business and now that I’m retired I wanted to share my previous experience with my wife. I was not disappointed. The same luxurious accommodations still exist. This time I had more to enjoy the amenities. The staff and food were exceptional. Treat yourself with a stay at the Estancia.

Beautiful property
Loved this property - it was truly an experience to stay here. It felt warm, cozy and luxurious all at once. From the welcoming lobby to the courtyards to the well-appointed rooms, you will feel relaxed and refreshed staying here.

really quit and clean higher end hotel with nice amenities, restaurants, and location adjacent to the ocean and UCSD. Staff was great, friendly and helpful.

One of a kind property
Great Bar Great Staff Great Breakfast Staff is very attentive to guest needs and will make sure to make your stay as pleasant and comfortable as possible. The property is expansive and has excellent decor and design inside and out. If you're staying there for a short time make sure to arrive there earlier in the day so you can enjoy the exterior of the property in the daytime. The grounds are worth walking around the the architecture is impressive and feels very cozy. The whole place has a private but open feeling, so you can enjoy yourself without feeling like you're infringing on other peoples time/space. The rooms were very clean and well designed, attention to detail in the finishes is plainly obvious (especially to design or construction professionals)

Outstanding hidden gem in La Jolla
Estancia is a hidden gem!! So charming and beautiful. We had the best spa treatment (Ronnie is amazing!) and the service at the pool is outstanding. Andrea and Phil made our experience extra special and joyful!
