This is a beautiful resort, outside of La Paz, maybe a 10-15 min drive from the Malecon. The rooms are lovely, though a bit on the small side for a luxury resort. We asked for a sea view room, and we enjoyed looking out at the waters of the bay, and the marina. We had dinner and drinks at Steinbeck's and loved that place! Had a wonderful ahi salad in the casual restaurant, too. Other restaurants around the marina are a short walk away. All in all, from our welcome drink to the assistance with our departure, the staff was great, and we had a delightful stay.

We reserved a marina view room, but on arrival the wifi didn't work. They tried to reset it, which didn't work, so they recommended I go to the lobby to use the computer, and reported that the tech would be in the following day. It was still not working the following afternoon, so we requested to move, but were told the hotel was full. At no time in our entire stay did the hotel seem to be anything but deserted. They then "found" us a room, but it was a downgrade with less space, and no water view. At breakfast, they had several tables reserved, so we were not allowed to sit on the veranda, but no one else came into the buffet while we were there. The infinity pool often shown in their photos is beautiful, but it is a part of the Beach Club, and if you are staying at the hotel, you must spend 500 pesos per person at the bar to use the pool. The best part of the hotel was the housekeepers, who, though we did not interact with them directly, clearly took care in tidying the room, even picking up and folding pants that were on the floor, and tucking shoes away neatly. This was the only part that made us feel like valued guests. Overall, I would recommend going elsewhere.

Although it was a school holiday in Baja, and the hotel had some children, it was not noisy, and the pool area well maintained. When a drone buzzed the room, the manager quickly saw that it was shut down. The rooms were a good size and included all that we would want. The shower was built out into the room, strangely, and I found it constricted access a bit on that side of the bed. However, it was all lovely. Room with a view of the Sea of Cortez and pool were worth it. Breakfast was good, though cooked to order was quite slow, and the available foods on buffet were irregular. I found that I needed to go to buffet several times during breakfast to see what had changed that I might want. The service from checkin to checkout was great, including restaurants, and at the pool. I definitely want to go back.

From the outside the hotel looks very nice. The lobby is inviting and the staff welcoming,. However, the room we had faced the pool. When people spoke outside - we were on top floor- we could hear everything. The area around the pool was lovely but workers were there both days. The noise was deafening. Although we were scheduled to stay 3 nights we talked to the manager and asked to leave early. His answer, rather than apologizing for the inconvenience and unrelating environment that the workers created, told us we could go to another pool, a distance from the hotel. This was not what we booked. The manager appeared annoyed because he had to phone Expedia to request the cancellation, The hotel is out of town and is really nothing special. We don't recommend La Paz unless you're traveling to see whales.

Nice place but don't expected to hang out in the pool . I'm shocked that with all the guess complaints they will not turn it up they told on guess you only think its cold. That's arrogance!!!!!!!! If you heat the pool I may go ba,ck
