LOVED our stay!! The view from our room was absolutely beautiful and we enjoyed opening the double doors on our patio and taking it all in. The staff was very friendly and helpful. We didn’t end up trying the restaurant because this hotel is well located within a short drive of Old Town where we enjoyed awesome food, drinks, and shopping. We already plan to return to this hotel in particular because of its charm, cleanliness and reasonable rates.

My experience at a hotel in Palm Springs was deeply disappointing due to a booking error and subsequent mismanagement. My intention was to book a Superior room with a soak-tub for a single night of relaxation, but I accidentally selected a Premium room on the hotel’s website. Despite the higher cost, the Premium room lacked the key amenity I sought. When I realized the mistake, I reached out to the hotel’s administration to switch rooms, especially since online listings showed Superior rooms as available. The response was that those rooms were ‘under construction’ and unavailable, a claim contradicted by their continued online presence. My inquiries about this discrepancy were sidestepped, and the administrator’s promise to remove the listings immediately to prevent further confusion was not honored. To my dismay, the listings remained active even after several hours, demonstrating a clear lack of urgency and accountability. Adding to the frustration, a refund following a departure within five minutes of arrival was not initiated tho i didnt ask for it when i left in anger amd frustration. This situation highlights a significant shortfall in customer service and operational transparency, leaving me with unresolved issues and without a refund. Future guests should be wary of potential discrepancies in room availability and the hotel’s commitment to resolving customer concerns.”

No light in part of the bathroom. Fan in bathroom could not turn off .Pool looked dirty. The daytime guy at the front desk seemed too stiff- programed and not concerned with helping solve a problem. The restaurant was closed because the chef was sick. There is no desk or table in the room. The shower and view were great,

My husband and I made reservation in January for a balcony room, 4 nights in May 2023 to celebrate a Birthday. We secured the reservation on my Credit Card $218.90 and received a confirmation number.. On April 3, 2023, I received an email my reservation was canceled due to an error in processing my Credit Card. I called the the Château at Lake La Quinta. Asking why I had been canceled after my reservation was confirmed. I was told that someone had come in and rented all the rooms, and my reservation was canceled and it wasn’t because of my credit card. I was very upset. I feel this is a terrible policy.

Very horrible front desk service. Went to get towels at the front desk and waited at least 15 minutes before anybody showed up to the front. In comes the front desk guy with a name tag of Ruben who reeked or Marijuana with eyes squinting like he had just come in from smoking. Then had to wait another 15 minutes at least before my towels were brung to me. I will never go to that hotel again.
